Camping....

I have used one of this weeks freebies from Bugaboo Stamps and created a basic card. I haven't used a sketch which seems unusual now, I still remember being scared of sketches lol.

Ronnie Relaxing

I posted a few days ago about this fab image from pollycraft to raise money for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, the image is inspired by Crafty Emma's father who tragically died in September. Please stop by and purchase the lovely image and help to raise some funds for this very worthwhile cause.

The image looks a little wonky in the image below but appears straight in real life, I have used the Friday Sketchers sketch and it was a dream to work with.

Copic Colour Chart

I have compiled a copic colour chart to show the lightest copic ciao versus the EX-4 pale sketch colours. As you can see some of the colours are considerably lighter whilst others it is difficult to see any major difference. Hopefully they will appear as though there is some colour as they are extremely pale in real life.

Thank you for looking

Wow - can't believe it has been sooo long

Hello everyone, just a quick post to let you know I am alive and kicking, been really busy at work and home and my mojo has gone on a serious walkabout. Have been colouring in a few images but nothing to show as yet, but have no fear I have just bought the "Ronnie Relaxing" digistamp from Pollycraft and have been enjoying colouring him and will be making a card later, if I can drag myself away from blog hopping that is. If you haven't seen Ronnie Relaxing pop over to Emma's blog to read all about her fundraising efforts for the Air Ambulance that assisted when her Dad was injured last year, sadly he didn't make it but this is a very worthwhile cause and every donation helps.

Woohoo a Challenge Card - SSuuppeerrbbooyy

Sometimes when you see an image you can almost imagine how the recipient will react when the card is made, this is one such image, as soon as I saw the backwards "S" I knew who it would be perfect for. I won't say who just in case they read this and I have purposely left off the sentiment. I found the checked paper when I was organising my craftroom and decided if I didn't use it now it would lay undiscovered for another three years lol.

Ingredients
Image: "Superboy" Digital Pencil
Papers: "Yellow Grid" Funky Fairy, checked paper Sizzix pad (found during the craftroom clearout)

Challenges
Cards for Men - Humour
A Spoonful of Sugar - One for the Boys
Sweet Stampin Challenge - Its a Man's World
Bee Crafty - Birthday

No Cards but some news

Morning all, I haven't made any cards for a few days and although I could post more of the oldies but goldies I only really want to post my new creations so bear with me. And now to the news part, very exciting for me but probably not for others but I have finally organised my craft room, yippee. I think part of the reason I haven't made any cards is because I don't want to mess it up before I take pictures to show you all. It looks lovely at the moment all organised and clean, I just know that as soon as I try to make a card all that will change lol.

Hope everyone had a lovely Easter and enjoyed the chocolate eggs, we were very restrained here and only had one each lol. Not cos we wanted to but because I forgot to buy them lol.

Catch you all tomorrow, thanks for stopping by.

Some Oldies but Goldies

Wow can't believe it has been almost a week since my last post, I have been colouring in images but not made any cards. So I thought I would show you a few of my oldies but goldies. I am sure that everyone remembers a card they made when they started out with fond memories, well these aren't those lol. I remembered I had scanned a few I made for my Mum and thought you may like to see them. The boy image was coloured before I got my copics and I used sharpies and a prisma marker for the skin, they give a good coverage and don't leave the pen lines but I could never get them to blend. I did enjoy colouring with them though and they made my decision to buy copics. Like many I have a set of prismas but could never use them like I wanted to, I still see loads of images coloured with them and wonder how they do it lol. Hubbie says I need to practise more but you get such instant gratification with copics that they are the first thing I reach for. Maybe this weekend I may get the prismas out.
