How cute are these kittens?

Just wanted to wish one of my good friends a very Happy Birthday and show you all the card I made for her. She has two adorable grey cats that have a real mischievous nature so I hope that I have captured that in this card. As soon as I saw these images at Digistamp Boutique I knew who I wanted them for.

I have been seeing the Echo Park springtime papers all over blogland and knew I had to have them but how do I sneak another paper pad past hubbie, well I have discovered a fab way of doing just that buy them as digital downloads lol and then he never knows how much I have bought lol. I bought springtime, little boys and summertime and will be back for more so if you like digital downloads check out this site - Jessica Sprague.

Why is it they always play with the box?

I have loved this image from Mo since I first saw it but never bought it until now. I couldn't wait to colour it and it was even more fun than I thought it would be lol.

Used some papers that you have all probably seen around blogland before but these ones are slightly different, why I hear you ask? well because they are digital woohoo. Never run out again print whenever you want and resize to your hearts content, can't say better than that. I bought a few sets so expect to see these popping up all over my blog. I bet you would like to know the name of the site.....it is Jessica Sprague and she also has Cosmo Cricket...woohoo again.

Roses red red roses - ok pink roses

Hello All

I am back today with a large creation, I normally make 5 x 5 or 6 x 6 cards so this 8 x 8 was a bit of a tall order - pardon the pun. I normally wouldn't even attempt this size but decided to view it like a McDonalds meal and just supersize it lol.

No snippets this time as I didn't have anything large enough in my snippet draw, used lovely shabby chic papers from Raspberry Road and a digi image by just inklined. I think large cards are where digi stamps outshine their rubber counterparts as you can make them any size you want and this one is only a £1 what a bargain. The ribbon is from a set by Poppicrafts and is the last bit I have so now need to find somewhere else stocking this as poppicrafts has closed :(

Popcorn, Slippers and a Remote Control

Hello All
I made this card a while ago but hadn't posted the pictures. I used an image from digi shack but when I went to link back they seem to have closed :(. They did fab images as well and I hesitated on quite a few, that will teach me to buy them when I see them.

Onto the card, coloured with copics and as a bit of a laugh I used flock on his slippers lol.

A Get Well Soon Wish

Wow three posts in one week, I must be ill.

My next door neighbour has recently had an operation so I wanted to send her a get well card and this die cut square from Lilli of the Valley is perfect. I really wanted the stamp but didn't think I would use it but have made three different cards with the die cuts so maybe I would have.

Jules would be proud again as apart from the image all the rest came from my snippets. I am loving the colour combos using snippets brings.

A Snippet Make At Last

It seems like so long since I made a snippet make but since I reorganised my craftroom I check the snippet draw before I make anything. I am not quite ready to show you my snippet draw like Jules has but maybe soon lol.

So onto the make you may recognise the papers from the last card I uploaded and you would be correct. They were on the top of the pile so just had to be used up, I am left with very small scraps but I already have a plan for them. No A4 pieces of card were harmed in the making of this card and even the image was stamped on scrap, coloured with my trusty copics and a bit of glossy accents and hay presto a finished card that I actually like. I used my Josy Rose nailheads and I love them, thanks Jules for bringing this fantastic product to my attention.

A New Craft Room - Almost

Hello

I haven't disappeared off the face of the earth but I have been otherwise engaged. After a couple of weeks in Florida I decided to repaint my craft room and it has been in pieces ever since lol. Whilst all my stash was in boxes I had loads of ides for cards and was a bit frustrated that I couldn't get to my stuff and when I finally finished putting it back together, yeah you guessed it my mojo decided it had to wait to long and went on strike lol.

I did manage to go to a craft show at Taunton and also Newbury but didn't really buy much at either. I did buy a spinner for my stickles at the Taunton show and must say I am very impressed with it. They had two sizes 18 and 36 and I decided to get the 18, I rang hubbie as I thought I had about 12 sets and he confirmed I actually had 22 so the 18 would be too small lol, even though in the picture I looks half empty.

You can just about see the deep raspberry colour behind the spinner this is the colour I eventually went with. I originally wanted a cream and chocolate colour scheme but after painting three of the walls cream the brown didn't look so much like chocolate....so it was an early morning trip to the local B&Q and a colour I wouldn't have normally picked but I must say I really like it, reminds me of red berry cooler from Costa.

I have also rearranged my wall cupboard and taken away lots of the little boxes as I found I never looked in them and placed my punches so that I can see them and hopefully use them more.

I even tidied the main cupboard, I couldn't believe how much stuff I had in there, when I emptied it into the dining room it seemed to fill it and it is twce the size, my room is now referred to as the tardis lol.

I wonder how long it will stay this tidy lol.

Thanks for looking
Amanda
