Elf Hat the Finale

The last elf hats for 2025, I do think I will use this die set again as it did get much easier as time went on. 

Elf Hat Again

I made this a little while after the one I showed yesterday but I still found them trickier than I expected, maybe its because I am not a die cut girl, I love to colour although this christmas that has been in short supply.

I can't believe it is the 8th already, this month well actually this year has whizzed by.

Elf Hat

This was the first christmas card I made in 2025 and i was trying out a new set of dies that are postage edged, I do like them and I should have used them more but maybe next year will be their year.

This die set was one that looked easier than it was, its not difficult but it was trickier than I expected, still I did use it several times.

Santa Wine Glass

The last of these this year but there is an elf just waiting in the wings that I need to make too, maybe I will make it ready for next year lol

Reindeer Wine Glass

The second of the wine glasses I made and it may be my favourite, I will apologise that the cards are spread out this year but I wanted to post every day in december and I batch made too well this year lol.

 

Snowman Wine Glass

Sometimes you see something and know that its perfect for a person or in this case couple, I couldn't wait to make this card and I made three designs of the possible 4 so you know I am itching to make the other one now.

This came together so effortlessly that I began to wonder why I waited to use it. Both the background stamp and die are from Alinacraft and I haven't used that brand before but I will be back.

Baby's First Christmas

Its been a while since I made a first christmas card and I went with a design I made way back in 2017, I found the stamp whilst looking for something else and couldn't resist recreating the card. I even used the same colours of card stock.

Nutcracker Version 2

 After I made the playday cards I wanted to make my Mum's christmas card with the nutcracker as well, however my mum likes bigger cards so I tried adding it to a 7 x 5 instead of an A2 and it worked, of course I made sure to add the teeth this time but I am kind of regretting that lol.

Nutcracker

 I am not sure why I absolutely had to have this die but I really really did. I made all my crafty friends cards from my two craft groups with this die and I had a blast. I decided very early on to mix and match the colours and that made it easy to batch produce, of course I was in the zone on the first one and forgot the teeth but I think he looks less scary without them.

I am hoping to post daily in december but I made the bulk of my cards with leftovers from last years cookie cards and I forgot to photograph them and of course I posted them before I realised!!!

Sheetload October for the win again

I used the October sheet load again and I think it might be a new favourite, I found this already coloured image in my stash and thought it marched perfectly and now I have found this birthday stamp and die set again I can’t stop using it lol.

Charming Again

As promised here is the second of the charm bracelets and this time I used a new to me embossing folder from Spellbinders for the background and I can see me using this a lot, I have been really impressed by the size of the spellbinders embossing folders, as you could make 7x5 cards using them too which makes them more useful.

Neighly 8

Another creative fabrica digital stamp and the reason I printed a whole sheet lol. I had an idea for my horse mad cousin and suprisingly it looks exactly as i hoped.

October Sheetload

October sheetload was such a fun template and so easy too. I have already made a few cards with this layout and I really like it, maybe it will make a dent in my paper mountain lol.

 

Reading Nook

These stamps were in my basket so fast my head spun lol. I have already used the lady before but I knew I wanted to colour the bookcase and chair, the bookcase was a labour of love and I only used half of it lol. I did realise I can't do random very well so next time I need to plan which colours go where lol. 

Rainbow Wishes

All of this card was made using stuff I found whilst cleaning my room, I made the background back in 2021, coloured the girl in about 2022 and stamped the sentiment last year lol. It was meant to be though because it all works perfectly together.

Another blending brushes card and one made in the sections of the rainbow theme, as I’m writing this post I can feel the urge to make more returning but the million dollar question is monochrome or rainbow lol

A Big Birthday Wish

This wasn't the card I wanted to make but with my mojo on vacation and a deadline looming I went with a tried and tested design, hopefully the money inside will help lol.

Bingo

I was invited to a night out with the people from bingo to celebrate on of their birthdays so I couldn't turn up empty handed, the numbers indicate their age and I am pleased to say they liked it.

This is a very, very old as until now unused MFT set that I have had since 2013!!! I was about to destash it too.

Tee-rific Day

Surprisingly this turned out exactly as I hoped and I may even make some more for next year. I do find batch making some of my cards a lot easier as I am running out of ideas lol. I have been making cards for over 20 years so it’s not surprising I am out of ideas lol. 

New Home for Old Neighbours

My next door neighbours recently moved and I  knew I needed a card so I made this way in advance as I knew I would be too upset closer to the move, we have been neighbours for over 21 years so it hasn't been easy, of course it does help that they are only two streets away lol.

Charming

Sometimes you see a set of stamps and dies and you just know that you need them, not want but really need them, this set from Concord and 9th was just that for me. I made this as soon as it arrived and the person who received it absolutely loved it and was shocked I made it myself.

I have already made more so expect to see them soon, its so handy being able to personalise them with the name or even occasion 

New Baby Girl

A good friend of mine was expecting her second baby girl and I wasn't sure what to make when I spotted the Clearly Besotted Baby bees on sale and thought I have an idea, it turned out exactly as I envisioned too.

Gold Opulence

Now this didn't turn out as I hoped but I still like the concept, now I just remembered that I was going to make some christmas cards with the background circle, darn it I am almost finished making them too, should I get a head start on next year.... yeah Im laughing too 

Beer Monster

In the big craftroom clearout/move I discovered lots of bits and pieces where I had cut multiples and never used them, all of the supplies I used on this card are from that pile. They would have been wasted but now they are made into a bright and cheery card

Alex Syberia Magazine Freebie

As soon as I saw this magazine I knew it was coming home with me and much to my surprise I used it immediately.... I had also just received this spellbinders plaster Simon Hurley embossing folder and it seemed a perfect match to me. 

Daffodil Dreams part 2

I wish I had a reason for my absense but I don't, my mojo went on vacation without me and I have been decorating my bedroom which seemed to take a really, really long time so I apologise and hopefully I can get back on track with my posting.

This is the other version I mentioned a while ago, this time I used the ink colours from the packaging and I really like that it reads as white not yellow.

Altenew is phenomenal in supplying packaging with ideas, colour combos and actual panels you can make quick cards with, plus I really like flowers and layered stencils lol.

Not another one I hear you say, but it is the last for a while. I might break out the MFT shark etc and make more though lol.

Another outing for this water stencil from altenew, do you ever start a project and then can’t stop and you are looking for images to make more, this stencil did that to me, I might have made quite a few and only stopped because I didn’t know who they were for lol

Big Birthday Again

I am still on my two cards one sitting although as this card was made in February and the post written then as well that may well have changed lol. The size of these ladies is so perfect for this birthday die, although I think I might have made them for everyone now lol.

Sometimes you see a perfect card and you know you can’t make it exactly the same but you put your own spin on it, well this is that card. I just wish I could remember who made it.

I used two MFT sets from jenoblade to make this and I may have made more because I enjoyed it so much.

Perfect Princess

I made this at the same time as the princess one but as this little lady has a touch of red in her hair I thought Ariel would be the perfect princess for her. I used a colouring page as the background again and I’m so thankful I can just find the perfect one so easily, it’s changed how I craft.

I like you axolotl

A different style for me but I will say I like the effect, I used a new to me stencil from altenew and it looks like water. It’s another of the creative fabrica images and I am so happy with how it turned out.

Crafty Bee

When I saw this stamp set in the clearance section of clearly besotted it literally jumped in my basket and I’ve used it already, shock, horror and disbelief lol.

The splat stencil is out again and this time in rainbow, I have no idea how many times I’ve used this stencil but I know it’s a lot.

A break from the norm

This is a very different card for me but one I enjoyed making, my friends son is a budding artist and he drew this picture two years ago and he is into fountain ink drawing at the moment so I thought let’s use the image and this pen die and see if I can make something unique for him. I do hope he likes it

Soda Lightful

Oh I do love a punny sentiment almost as much as this friend loves Diet Coke lol. I tried to make the image look like a Diet Coke and I hope she liked it obviously not as much as she likes a real Diet Coke lol.

Driving Test

This image and indeed card have been sitting in my drafts folder for ages waiting for her to actually pass so I could send and post it here lol. I still can’t believe she is old enough to drive lol.

Super Day

Not quite how I wanted or expected it to turn out but it still works, I should have masked a bit better but there is always next time. I used an older set from clearly besotted and as I bought the new super hero set I might have to make more lol

A New Baby Boy

A break from the splat cards and also a change from my usual baby cards but when you have used your usual and your back up for this little ones big brothers a new design is called for lol. Again I used already made images which I’ve had ready since 2013! 

Once I had decided on the images it came together really quickly.
