Happy 18th Birthday

When the pandemic started in 2020 I had a lot of big birthdays and I used this design a lot, so I figured if it isn't broke why fix it. I don't have very many bog birthdays this year so I can't see me using this again but I am sure I will next year lol.

As I already had everything out to make the 21st card I thought lets go ahead and make a 50th card I need later in the year. 

I do love a good tried and tested design and although this won't work for all the big birthdays this year it works for this one.

Maybe I should make a few of the ones I need for 2022.....now thats just a pipe dream lol.

Birthday Fishes

I think the expression "once you pop you can't stop" is very true, now I know it was for a can of pringles but it also applies to the eclipse big birthday style of card I am on a roll with.

I am so sad that this digistamp company no longer exists, I miss the quirky style and although I own a lot and I mean a lot of them I always looked forward to the new releases.

Nothing else to say really except that I have enjoyed getting organised and making all the big birthday cards in one go, maybe this should be something I do every year.

Now in case you were wondering yes I have used the eclipse style on all the big birthdays around here lately and as I have made several more then you can expect lots more lol.

I bought this image from Mo's digital pencil when it was first released and always intended making a card for Paula with it but there are so many other images to choose from and when I needed a large one to make her 50th card this one was perfect/ I am so glad I hadn't already used it lol.

JASON 50

As soon as I saw this image I knew who I would use it for but it was a small stamp and I wanted to be able to increase the size, so I contacted the lovely owner of CC designs and asked if it was going to be available as a Digi and she said yes, I bought it as soon as she released it and it has sat waiting ever since.

I coloured it to look like the guy and he loved it, he was most impressed with his name in an eclipse style as he hadn't seen that before.

I let the image be the star of the show and this style is one I will definitely be recreating.
