its the weather for Beer

Sometimes making new friends means you can send them older designs of cards because they will have never seen them and that means you get to recreate some of your favourites too. I call that a win win lol. 

A break from the norm

This is a very different card for me but one I enjoyed making, my friends son is a budding artist and he drew this picture two years ago and he is into fountain ink drawing at the moment so I thought let’s use the image and this pen die and see if I can make something unique for him. I do hope he likes it

Soda Lightful

Oh I do love a punny sentiment almost as much as this friend loves Diet Coke lol. I tried to make the image look like a Diet Coke and I hope she liked it obviously not as much as she likes a real Diet Coke lol.

Enjoy the Ride

 Another car another card, I do like finding a design and running with it, although I might have used this one as many times as I can without repeating for someone. I do still have a few unused car stamps though so maybe I need to modify it a bit lol.

Grumpy Coffee Cat

I bought this stamp set for this sentiment and of course I needed to use the main image and my friend has the fluffiest black cat ever and he is grumpy too so it was a match made in heaven.

Beer Glass version 2

A different glass shape and a different sentiment and a new card is born, I did make quite a few of these and now have a stash of ready made guy cards. 

 

Beer Glass

This stamp was thankfully able to fit on my normal US A2 card size and I went with a style I’ve used before, I love the look of the spatter and spills. I love supporting UK companies but I do struggle with how large the stamps are sometimes and this set was no exception. Will that stop me buying, of course not but maybe I need to start using up some of my mountain of larger card bases…

 

Buckle Up

I realised that I didn't use these cars last year when I batch made the guy cards so of course I had to make use of them this year. Its such a simple design but thats all most of the guys I make cards for want.

Coffee Mouse

Not the direction I was originally going with this card but I do like how it turned out, I bought a specific stamp set just for this sentiment so I had to use it. The stamp was going to be a cat but I realised I’ve made a lot and I mean a lot of cat cards for this very good friend so I thought let’s try something the cat catches instead lol.

Hipster Cat

I am currently sticking to my plan to use the massive amount of coloured images I have in a box in my craft room. I'm not sure I will ever get to the bottom of the box but at least I'm trying lol.

The major issue is that I have no idea of the colours I used when I coloured this cat not that I will ever probably colour it again lol.

I just added the tabs and for such a simple card thats a large list lol.

Beep beep happy birthday

Another of the images coloured for the 30 day challenge eventually made into a card. I am slowly and I mean slowly working my way through the huge pile I coloured. At least on this card I used three images lol.

I was inspired by a Mama Elephant card Nicol Magouirk made with the ninjas and I thought I would try it here. I probably should have added wash tape but I forgot doh!

The new stencil from Brett Weldele provided the perfect backdrop for the polaroids. I do seem to be on a stencil kick at the moment, which is great but not reducing the paper mountain lol.
