I used my normal US A2 for this one and although I like it I think I prefer the square as the white space is larger and more impactful.

Another Deb Hallett inspired card and I must admit I am loving using square cards again, I have so many in my stash and they deserve some love too.

Snoopy number 1

I was inspired by “Deb Hallett” on YouTube who makes the loveliest cards, she leaves a lot of white space and uses black as the accent and I am sure you agree it’s very effective. I had to have this magazine set and I might have used quite a few and they will all be variations on a theme, that seems to be my style at the moment lol.

Recreate is Ok

Sometimes all the energy we have is to recreate a card design and even the colour combo and thats ok. I do think I beat myself up a lot at not having original designs all the time but if I enjoyed making it and the recipient enjoyed receiving it then where is the harm.

I wish I had used this plane on the other card but I suppose there is always next year lol. This is from a very old creative stamping magazine, it’s still my favourite crafty magazine but it seems more difficult to get hold of now.

Bingo Buddies

I have recently been attending bingo on a Wednesday afternoon with a group of friends I made at Sunday night bingo and it’s been a blast, I have been winning too but ultimately it’s the company and laughter I enjoy, the bingo is a side not a main lol.

It was one of their birthdays so I had to make a card, this person loves rainbows and I just happened to have this image already coloured ready to go, I do like this simple design, no fuss but still effective.

Polly Pocket Again

I made an almost identical version of this last year and I thought why not make it again, I was running out iof time and ideas and in full on christmas mode so I knew I wouldn't be able to come up with a whole new design and I think I should have made more lol.

The last of these this year but there is an elf just waiting in the wings that I need to make too, maybe I will make it ready for next year lol

The second of the wine glasses I made and it may be my favourite, I will apologise that the cards are spread out this year but I wanted to post every day in december and I batch made too well this year lol.

 

Snowman Wine Glass

Sometimes you see something and know that its perfect for a person or in this case couple, I couldn't wait to make this card and I made three designs of the possible 4 so you know I am itching to make the other one now.

This came together so effortlessly that I began to wonder why I waited to use it. Both the background stamp and die are from Alinacraft and I haven't used that brand before but I will be back.

Baby's First Christmas

Its been a while since I made a first christmas card and I went with a design I made way back in 2017, I found the stamp whilst looking for something else and couldn't resist recreating the card. I even used the same colours of card stock.

Cake Splat

The last of these for a while, not the stencil of course that never leaves my desk but the already coloured images lol. Not that I’ve reached the end of them of course I have a lot and I mean a lot still to use up. Maybe that should be my mission what I haven’t used by the end of next year I throw away!!!!

Coffee Splat

I might have been trying to use up some of the hundreds of already coloured images I have found since I started moving my craftroom upstairs. Again I find the clearly besotted stencil invaluable in just providing a little supporting act to the image. 

Border Collie Hello

I was searching Creative Fabrica for some backgrounds and I came across  a lot of digital stamps that were too cute to not print and use straight away, in fact i might have printed, coloured and made several different cards lol.

I was unsure of the thicker lines the images had but after seeing them here I think you don't notice the only thing you do notice is how cute the images are.

Window Scene

I bought this magazine just to make this card, I had an idea and for once it worked exactly like I envisioned it. Of course once I had made the scene I had no idea what to do next so I went simple so the scene stands out. I really want to make more but it was quite the labour of love. 

Polly Pocket

I saw this set of stamps from The Sassy Club and knew immediately who I would make a card for, when she was little I used to buy her Polly Pocket and then I bought the newer version for her girls so it seemed particularly apt.

 

Blue Moon

Now you could be forgiven for thinking I made this at the same time as the last card but no, I made this for an October birthday hence why it is more complicated lol. Not sure which one I prefer and the sunset one is definitely quicker so maybe I should make a few and have them ready, I know my jokes keep getting funnier lol.

Mario Kart Revisited

So another revisited idea, I was going to add the Mario to the switch die I have but I couldn’t find it in my craftroom move so I went with the same as I made previously, I can see this being a theme this year as the move has sapped my mojo and until the room is completed I don’t see it returning. I’m not moaning about the move but it has been more disruptive than I expected.
