Polished to Perfection

I can't believe how long its been since I used an A La Mode from MFT, they were the first thing I ever purchased from them and I am still in shock that they don't make or sell them anymore. I have quite a collection but this is one of my favourites. Its just perfect for the nail polish addicts in my life lol.

As its still January and my mojo is still in hiding I went all out simple in the design, sometimes though you don't need to break new ground to end up with a card the recipient is going to like.

Skater Boy

I saw a card by Amy from a Thousand Sheets of Paper blog and she used the basketball boy from the greeting farm with the Papertrey swoosh and I thought it was so cool.

I  should have left bigger gaps between the different elements but this is definitely a style I will be using often as it was so easy to produce and it looks like it took longer than it did.

There's no family like snow family

Ok bad pun but I couldn't get the tune out of my head after so I have paid the price I promise lol. Another Christmas card I hear you say, well yes it is, I am loving making them and as my nan would say I am making hay whilst the sun shines.

Another new release LOTV stamp, this was a joy to colour and I knew who I was going to give the card to immediately. I am using real red again, I am already on my second pack of 24 sheets and can see another order coming, I really love this card and it seems to go with everything. Red is the one colour I have always struggled to get in the UK, small packs from other suppliers have never matched each other again so the fact that stampin up always matches is a real plus point for me. I am also wondering if I need the new ice cream colours mmmm ok yes I do lol.
