Margarita Anyone?

Last of the failed backgrounds and I think one of my favourites, these stamps lend themselves so well to the splatter background and now I want to make them in different colours

Blue Moon

Almost the last of the failed backgrounds only one more to go, when faced with a blue moon looking background it seems logical to make a blue moon cocktail to go with it. It is making me want to try a blue moon now though lol.

Gin Glass

This is one of the failed backgrounds for the gin bottle card from my last post but I do think it worked perfectly with the gin glass from the stamp set. Looking at this card does make me want to make more lol

Let the fun BeGin

So this card wasn't as easy as the others as Gin has no real colour so I went with a sort of lime juice splatter, of course this resulted in about four other backgrounds whilst trying to find the correct colour so expect to see those soon.

Magic Mae

When I made the “magic inspired” card months ago I used the reverse of the papers to make this background, I do like doing that as you get two for one. 

I found this image already printed on my desk so I just coloured her to match the colours and the card was made.

When I’m struggling with inspiration creating backgrounds helps, that might be rainbow stripes, stencilling or using “that sketch” but they are there ready to put the perfect image on when colouring is the only thing I want to do.

Latte Love

And so the obsession resumes lol. I made this card at the same time as the beer/bike/wine ones last year but waited until after the persons birthday to show it. The colour of the coffee cup is different to one I would have chosen but I was challenged to make a peach mug whilst on a call with friends. I am amazed that the first time I use this stamp set the company is no longer trading which is a shame as it works so well

Rainbow stripes but different

A take on my rainbow stripes, I’m not sure where the idea came from but I do like it a lot. I’ve been clearing out my old photos and I’m sure this was from last year. There might be a few older posts as I get back on track with the creating. I always struggle in January to get back into the swing of creating but once I do there is no stopping me and of course I have new goodies too lol.
