Some Odd Girl Reading

I made this card way back in January so I have no idea what I used to colour it but they really match the distress inks so I wish I could remember lol.

I bought a lot of theses digital stamps in the Some Odd Girl closing down sale and expect to see the other one using this design in the next few days. I think I have actually used almost all the ones I bought which shocks me no end lol.

I was still in the stripes obsession phase although I had moved on from the rainbow stripes. Again writing this blogpost makes me want to recreate this card as I really like it.

Faceted Cowboy

The second card in the colour combo obsession and I think its a bit busy. The recipient really liked it though so I suppose thats the most important bit. 

I love that little cowboy guy and even though he is small he sure is mighty lol

Wild Sprout

I am not sure how I would have survived this last year without my obsessions, in both life and crafting they have created little safe havens for my tired and weary soul. This particular obsession was short lived but I really like the colour combo and now as I am writing this blogpost I have the urge to get those colours out again and start creating lol.

I used a new to me layered argyle stencil I bought in the January crafters companion sale, i bought several layered stencils but the others are huge and not really workable for cards so next time I need to be more vigilante when looking at sizes lol.

Oh No Five Oh

I had this idea about a year before I actually made this card and I am so pleased it actually worked. Sometimes an idea and an actual card can look very different lol. 

I do like the fact that digital stamps can be made to any size and I really needed it for this large 8x8 one.

In real life the "five oh" stands out more clearly as it is glossy accented plus it has six layers of grey card underneath.

Balloon Baby Girl

I had all the stuff on my desk after making the balloon boy card so I thought why not make a girl version. The only change was the colours and the clouds. It came together really quickly but the boy version is my favourite lol.

Balloon Baby Boy

There are a few babies due that I have already made my goto design for their older siblings so I needed a new design. I remembered that I had bought this cute stamp from Clearly Besotted and the new distress oxide had just arrived and suddenly an idea grew and before I knew it I had made two cards. Of course I need three so I think I will just replicate this one.

Magical Friends

I made a few of these cards when the "big six turned 4" but as this little girls big sister never got this design I thought I would recreate it but on an A2 base instead of a square and I prefer it.

Of course the ponies are coloured like the ones in the My Little Pony universe, did you expect anything else lol.
