This time I went all dramatic and I think it works, especially with the black border separating the kraft pieces, its a very dramatic look. I do think I could just make these again next year with white paper and noone would have any idea they were the same cards lol

The second set and I am going to say it again but my favourite colour scheme until tomorrow lol.
Not sure what made me try these colours but I do like them together, I did worry that the salvaged patina wouldn't show but its very bright in real life.

I had been looking at the Taylored Expressions Quad Stencils for a while but I wasn't tempted to buy until I used the triple mini slimline one and after that I am officially hooked lol.
I have made several different variations and will show those over the next few days but these were the first, each time I will tell you it is my favourite combo and I will of course mean it lol.

I am going to try and attempt to blog everyday in December but I suppose that depends on whether or not I have something to show you lol.
I am starting my christmas makes with the ones I took to Florida, I went to florida in September and as it was a last minute decision I had very little time to make these cards and that will hopefully explain the really dodgy photography.
I used a set from Clearly Besotted and I had the idea last year so these have been percolating for a while and they turned out even better than I hoped.

I had found a calendar that my friend Kay made me and one of the pages had this stamped image and I couldn’t not reuse it.
I tried to match the stencil colours to the inks she used and I think it works. I don’t know the make of the ice cream stamp but whoever it is it’s very realistic and almost makes me want to lick the card lol
