Ok so another different card for me but I am enjoying experimenting with different techniques. On this card I have used embossing paste to create the background and I love the look it gives. I tried something different with the word dies and put tape on the back of the card I was cutting and then cut four layers and stuck them together. It was quicker than using dots of glue but messier to remove the die cut from the die. I love the layered effect of the word dies and so much easier than cutting foam squares.
I was originally going to stamp an image and pop it in the polaroid window but I remembered that when I used to take pictures with my instant back in the day I loved watching it change from black to grey to colour, so I inked the middle with pumice stone distress ink and some memento black for the edges.
I used tiny bits of snippets for the camera accessories and even the camera and word dies were cut from the leftovers of the zipper card so I am entering Di's snippet playground for a go on the roundabout.
