Lazy Sunday Afternoon

This image reminds me of a lazy sunday afternoon and was made using the fabulous images by Robert Jackson, I have bought a few and am loving colouring them. I have a dear friend at work who asked me to make this card for her mum, she can never find religious birthday cards and this fitted the bill perfectly I just hope her mum likes it too.

New Blogger Format .....hmmmm not sure

Hello everyone I have a few creations to post once I work out this new blogger format, I am sure once I get used to it  it will be easy to use but so far I am not convinced. I wish when stuff just works people wouldn't mess with it lol. I would never have found out how to see the blogs I follow without the help of people on the docrafts forum, so wanted to say a big thanks.

Will be back later with a card, once I have figured out how to load one lol

Another CD card

I don't think I have ever mentioned before but I have a cousin Amanda so in this family there are two of us, how scary is that. I was nine when she was born and she was so tiny so from that day on I was big Amanda and she is Little Amanda. It seems funny now calling her Little Amanda when she is 33 and has three adorable kids lol.

She like me adores anything with bears and the me to you bears are no exception. I got the first me to you cd and must admit to having the 2nd on my wish list. I used the backing papers, one of the decoupage sheets and a tag (although I cut the tag shape off) to make this card. The embossing folder is a new Papermania one called tri-boss buttons, it has really deep embossing that has different layers of depth to it, it is part of the new boofle range and there is a patchwork one as well that I may need to get now.

Dj Jammin

Hello everyone and waves to my new followers, I know this posting regularly is becoming addictive lol. I made a card using an image form a new artist to me anyway. I spent ages looking around his site and there are several images I will be going back for too, so I bet you are wondering who the artist is well it is Robert Jackson.

I used Lil DJ for this card and Shabby Princess "cozy sweater" paper, I couldn't believe it when I even had brads to match....knew the brad mountain would come in handy lol. The image didn't come with the music notes I added them myself and glossy accented them too.

New Beginnings

I made this card for one of the guys I used to work with who started a new job yesterday. I wanted to let him know how pleased I was for him and for me a card is the perfect way to do this.

I used a digistamp boutique character called James who is just perfect for this type of card and coloured him with my copics of course, plenty of glossy accents as well and I am finally using some of my brads too. Hubbie did refer to my brad collection as a brad mountain and as I want to order some more I have to show a reduction lol. Not that he stops me buying any crafty stash though he just likes me to use it, he doesn't understand the concept of one to use one to keep and look at lol.

Ingredients

Papers: Summer Driggs
Card: Mixture of papermill and Walmart
Brads: Stash (lol)

Congratulations Card

Sorry about the rubbish photo, didn't realise how rubbish it was until after I had posted the card...typical lol.
Hopefully the newly engaged couple have received it now so it is safe to post on here.

I used decoupage on this card and had lots of fun cutting it out, the CD was a magazine freebie a while ago and was my first time using a cd to craft but since then I have invested in another three lol.

Image & papers: Forever Friends Black & Gold CD (magazine freebie)
Cardstock: Papermill
Sentiment: Generated on Mac using Freehand Font and Pink Petticoat Image

Two posts in one day...I don't believe it

Now I don't normally upload twice in one day but I had to show you my happy accident lol. I am entering this card in the Waste not Wednesday challenge on Lisa's blog, I have had these images by Digistamp Boutique since they were first released and this is the first time I have used this one...hangs head in shame. It was such a joy to colour that I can see it being used again and again. I totally cased the sentiment and idea from Kerry, love her CAS cards.

So I bet you are wondering what the happy accident was ....well I had cut the patterned paper and matted it ready to place in the centre of the card when I dropped it and rather than ruin the whole thing I just cut the corners off and I kind of like it lol. This is also the first time I have used this paper pack from Shabby Princess, I really must use stuff I already have more.

Another March Card

Back again so soon I hear you say. I have finally gotten round to posting all the cards I have been making, I may not have been posting but I have certainly been making. Seem to have more cards than ever to make, I have changed my role at work and now work three days instead of five and should have more crafting time but we shall see.

It must be March I see Daffodils

Hello All,
Back again with another image from the "The Next Big Thing" CD, this time it is for my aunt who loves Daffodils so as soon as I saw this I knew it was perfect for her. I loved colouring this image and having a ready coloured version to refer to helped a lot.

Sorry I haven't been around and commenting, it does seem as though I spend most of my time apologising for not being here but sometimes life gets in the way. Anyway this is a card making blog and you didn't stop by to hear all about me.
