I realised whilst I showed this design before I hadn’t shown this version with the number 5, I realise for people reading my blog there is no difference but in the future when I’m searching to see if I’ve used this image before I can find it lol.

 

Paper Piecing Words

Sometimes you forget how much you enjoy something until you try it again and for me that’s paper piecing, I really enjoy the whole process and I can say I enjoyed making these cards. I often forget that uk manufacturers make stuff larger than us ones and I had to make a card base to fit the stamp but I like the finished result and I even made matching envelopes!

Shaped 60th

I made this card using my cricut and I can see me using this again, I have a few big birthdays this year and I might even make a start now, I know, I know I’m laughing too lol.

I do tend to forget when I order from crafters companion that their stuff is designed for larger cards and will not fit on an a2 us sized card. I couldn’t believe how large the bottle shaker die was and this is a uk a5 card base!!!

New Baby Love

I am not sure why I haven’t posted in a while, life has been challenging and this new variant hasn’t helped but I am hoping to get a bit more back on track this year. I am sure I am not alone in expecting this to have been all over by now.

Very good friends of ours recently announced they are expecting their first baby so of course I made them a card to celebrate. I am very excited to meet this little one and give them a cuddle. I will have to wait a while though lol.
