When I printed the other mugs I had room on the sheet of paper for a few more with no intention of using them but once I had made the other cards I thought these deserved to be made into cards too. I used the same elements and even mostly the same colours.
As a lover of hot chocolate I couldn't resist these mugs from Lili of the Valley, I had no idea how I was going to use them but I hadn't coloured much until then so I wanted to give a different style a try and I really like the simple look of these cards,
This is a newer to me stencil from Clearly Besotted, I do love their stencils and have quite the collection, another of the already coloured images and a simple stencil just makes it pop.
The other versions of the card I made in January, I try to match the images to the recipients and I had a blast making these too lol.
You could be forgiven for thinking this was for the US Mother’s Day but in fact it was for the UK one in March I had just forgotten to show it here. The new 7x5 dies made an outing again, very obsessed with them lol.
I also used one of the lili of the valley digi stamps and thankfully my mum loved it so that’s all that matters really.
As promised the last of these for a while, this isn't the digital version though its a real stamp and I am ashamed to admit it has never seen ink before. I went with the same style as the crafty gems version although I did use a different stripe die plate.
I have this one and one more to show and then I was out of the obsession, well for a little while anyway. With over 600 of these images I will be definitely using them again.
Another day another lili of the valley card, I am sure you will have noticed the theme, this one however is larger than the stamp size which made it so much easier to colour.
I was in my Lili of the valley obsession era when I made this and the subsequent cards lol. I do prefer the digital version but I do need someone to tell me why I still seem to make them the same size as if they were physical stamps lol.
At the same time as I printed the shopping ones I also printed the make up table version, I started using a lacy die but I didn’t like it as much as I had hoped so I went through my stax and found the arched dies from MFT which I am ashamed to say I haven’t used in forever.
This is a very different card from me and involved no colouring, when LOTV lili of the valley had their special offer I also purchased the pre printed version so that I could make some quicker cards, I do think that it works but I’m not sure they were much quicker to be honest lol. I made 4 of this design as the sheets print 4 images per page.
Another card using older supplies, I found the astronaut stamp when I found the airplane one so I had to use him, in fact I have made several versions of this card for all the little boys turning 5. I wasn’t sure how to put the card together when I remembered the moon background stamp and that made the perfect addition.
I have been trying to use some of my older stash, moving rooms has brought some gems to light lol, and this design is using only older stuff, the cover plate was a very well used and loved method before I discovered rainbow stripes and having bought the lili of the valley Christmas special digi stamps I found a real rubber one and knew I had to use it. Even the sentiment is an oldie, strange though because I think it all looks very clean and simple and modern lol.
Sorry for the blurry photo, it was in the post before I realised. Another of the actual lotv stamps I bought and looking at it I think I should make more as I love the clean and simple look.

I went with a tried and tested design but changed up the colours for this one, I even coloured in the penguin, this is an actual stamp from lotv and I might have bought their amazing bundle that included every single digital stamp….guess the theme for 2025 lol.
A completely different card than I was going for but I like it and it’s simple too. Sometimes over complicating things doesn’t make it better.
Another revisited design and I really enjoyed making them both. I love Mo Manning images she captures the look of kids so well, I have been using her images since 2009 and I am amazed by how timeless they are. Think I might even use this design for next years cards too. Plus this is a printed paper pack and I definitely need to use it up.
The only boy from the big 6 deserved a card fit for a football crazy boy. I adore the lili of the valley digital stamps they make it so easy to resize etc but of course I printed this the exact same size it would have been as a stamp lol.
The stencil was a very recent purchase from hunkydory and I also suppose it could be used for a fishing net.... of now the cogs are turning.
Do you ever start colouring something and suddenly realise you’ve completely changed the colour you were going to use into something else, this van was going to be orange but it’s definitely blue lol. I was chatting and colouring and then I realised what I had done it was too late.
The hobby lobby paperpack is getting a lot of use lately and I’m pleased as I’ve had it about 5 years and only used a few pieces.
My cousin’s daughter is a huge horse fan and as soon as I saw this image I knew it was perfect. It did mean that I deviated from the design I was planning for the big 6 but sometimes that will happen.
