It’s not easy being cheesy

I wanted this stamp set as soon as I saw it and strangely it looks exactly as I expected and that never happens lol.

Polly Pocket

I saw this set of stamps from The Sassy Club and knew immediately who I would make a card for, when she was little I used to buy her Polly Pocket and then I bought the newer version for her girls so it seemed particularly apt.

 

Mario Kart Revisited

So another revisited idea, I was going to add the Mario to the switch die I have but I couldn’t find it in my craftroom move so I went with the same as I made previously, I can see this being a theme this year as the move has sapped my mojo and until the room is completed I don’t see it returning. I’m not moaning about the move but it has been more disruptive than I expected. 

Fried Chicken

This card came to me in a vision lol, I wanted to use the new set from The Sassy Club and I knew I wanted a bucket of chicken so I designed this myself using elements from cricut design space, this is why I love my cricut without the ability to draw/design it myself I could still make something  I’m really happy with.

I folded the money after watching a video from Jennifer McGuire, makes it look like it’s more than it is lol

It’s me Mario version 2

The second card and with this one instead of drawing I used mostly stencils and masking tape. The line of bananas brought back very fond memories for me lol.

There are still a few images from this set I haven’t used and seeing them on here is inspiring me to get the stamp set back out lol.

It’s me Mario version 1

I bought this set at the scrapbook expo in Orlando, there were so many to choose from but this set caught my eye and had to come home with me. Unusual for me but I used it almost immediately and made two cards, the other one will be on here in a few days. 

I wanted to create the background but drawing isn’t my thing but a wavy line I can do. I drew the line on masking paper and cut along it, I inked and moved the masks to create the road and grass areas. It was easier than I expected lol.
