This card kind of made itself, I coloured the image on a call and my friend suggested a honeycomb background and I used "that sketch" again and bish bash bosh it was made.

I only have a few of the girl cards left and I think they are going to have to be LOL dolls 

Not My Usual Stamps Version 3

Another of the Lol surprise dolls and I think my favourite of the bunch. 

I tried a bit of a different thing with the number background stamp from Mft, every time I saw the number 8 I coloured it with my gel pen, that way even when the sequins are at the bottom there is still something to look at.

The dolls are lovely to colour and the eyes are the secret I think, they really look like they are watching you.

I got the idea for this card from one I saw on instragram but I can’t remember who made it ( if you know please send me a message so I can give credit) 

Of course this is inspired by not a copy because I didn’t have any of the items she used. The beer bottle was from a magazine freebie months ago and the cheers die is an old Mft one.

I did enjoy making this card and it is one I will definitely be having another go at in the future

My Birthday

No card to show today but a small observation, today I turn 51 without ever having the opportunity to celebrate being 50. 2020 was supposed to be my year, the year of parties, trips and fun with family and friends and instead it was a year filled with disappointments, fear and isolation. I am not complaining, far from it for I feel very fortunate to still be here and to have not had to endure the effects of the virus and also to be fully vaccinated and feel like the world is getting back on track but it is hard to not mourn the lost hugs and time with loved ones. All I can say now is that I hope we can all make up for lost time and see where the rest of 2021 takes us.

Pet Sympathy

This was the style pet sympathy card I made last year and while I still think it works I like the rainbow and outline better. 

This was my friends beautiful golden retriever and she was such a doll, she is very badly missed.

Not many of the older cards to post now, maybe a few more and then normal programming can resume

Yet more of the inked silhouette cards I have been making for sympathy cards, I just think they look elegant and I do make multiples as making them once they are required is harder.

I have made several more since I wrote this post and they never get any easier but as I use this blog as a reference I thought I would post this design so I can remember how well it works.

Rubik Birthday

I wish I could say I am almost at the end of the blog clean up and this is the last post but nope I am not and nope its not lol.

I made this card fro a Rubik obsessed guy and I used a real cube to ensure that the variations were true, maybe a little over the top but when I am creating for guys thats the type of thing I know they notice lol.

Krafty Gal

I am beginning to sound like a broken record but I am cleaning up my older draft blogposts and finding lots I have never shown, so rather than delete them I am going to show them. I have no idea what I have used on this one except a Kraftin Kimmie image and crafters companion sentiment and I must have been in my mft mod rectangle stage lol.

Elephant birthday

OMG another of last years cards that I didn't put on my blog, this one was for an elephant obsessed friend and even though it looks like I used "that sketch" I hadn't even seen it then lol.
