I bought this set at the scrapbook expo in Orlando, there were so many to choose from but this set caught my eye and had to come home with me. Unusual for me but I used it almost immediately and made two cards, the other one will be on here in a few days.
I wanted to create the background but drawing isn’t my thing but a wavy line I can do. I drew the line on masking paper and cut along it, I inked and moved the masks to create the road and grass areas. It was easier than I expected lol.
If you thought I made this on my cricut you would of course be right lol. It seems the big birthdays all have to be large letters lol. The image is from Crafts U Print and I had no idea that they sold digital stamps and perfect ones too
I decided to not use the tissue paper and pattern stamp on this version and I am not sure which I prefer, maybe I should just use the pattern stamp on normal paper and see if I like it for the next one, there will be a next one as there are 8 images in this lady stamp set and all deserve to be used lol
My BIL bought me this stamp set for my birthday and I knew I wanted to make it look like a sewing pattern for my cousin so of course I needed to buy the Viva Decor fabric background sets lol.
I stamped the background onto tissue paper which I thought gave the impression of a sewing pattern. My cousin liked it which is always a bonus
This card was made at the same time as the creative stamping plant one, multiples definitely seem to be the way for me. I did change the orientation as the runner was a little too big in portrait.
I discovered this range of digital stamps last year when I wanted arcade images for my hubbie, they are on Etsy and you get a tonne of images for the price.
I made this card way back in April so all I can remember was that I used the creative stamping plants lol.
I wanted to add it to my blog though as otherwise I would have no idea I had even made it.
I made this at the same time as the other chocolate mouse card and again the letters don't stand out enough, maybe I should have gone with a plain colour rather than eclipse...
This image was a freebie from The Greeting Farm and deserved to make it onto a card right away, this is the beauty of having backgrounds ready made and already knowing the colours to be able to colour the image quickly.
I made this background at the same time as the french/fondant fancy one and I thought it deserved to be made into a card and I also had several biscuits from the Creative Stamping magazine all ready to go so it was a perfect match and also meant some coloured images didn't go in the drawer so all in all a win win.
This idea was percolating in my head for ages and now its completed it is nothing like I expected lol. The letters don't stand out as much as I had hoped and I think I should have added glossy accents to them
