Tremendous Two

It was time for the tremendous two to turn two so I thought why reinvent the wheel and went with the same design as I used for the magnificent seven girls last year. I did remember to add a sentiment this time too.

Eclipse stencil who knew!!!

I thought I had lost this card when my camera stopped working, but then I found them all and inadvertently deleted this…. sometimes I wonder what I’m thinking lol.

I love a good eclipse and never thought to do it on a stencilled background before but I really like it. I bought the sloth image in May last year at a craft fair and knew who I wanted to use it for too.

I might have to make more of this design, when it’s freshly made I remember the trials and tribulations of getting my vision to translate to the card in front of me, six months out though it all seems easy lol.

Lost Anya

You might be thinking that background looks familiar and you would be right, when I cut the papers I do it so that two backgrounds are created, now I could have coloured the shoes like I usually do but this image was sat on my desk, I found it whilst looking for something else lol so she had to be used. I’m pleased with the colouring and I must say I’m enjoying colouring again, I had lost the colouring bug a bit but my holiday colouring has invigorated that again.

It’s a Badger sort of day

This card was also made whilst I was away, I really should have made three but I lost some of the letters so what should have been three became one lol.

I also coloured an image from a set I had to have that of course I’ve never used. I love Lee Holland illustrations, maybe I should colour the other images in this set….oh how I laughed at that but maybe I should lol.

Return of the Shoes

Another rerun of a classic design for me, I went with a different colour scheme but I really like this design and the image too. I’ve been making them for the ladies I hadn’t made them for last time but I think I’m running out of people to send it too and I’m kind of sad about that.

Woohoo Congratulations

Woohoo my friend's son has passed his driving test, I have been taking him out regularly for shopping and cake and I have been excited for this day as now he can drive me of course I know I will still be paying for the cake lol.

Have you noticed a theme yet lol, this is the last one of this style I promise, I had only stamped the one of these, not sure why I hadn’t stamped both. This is probably the brightest of the bunch and I think shows how different the pen colours are, I will be definitely doing this next time I go away though.

The other image from the stamp set and perfect for a tweenager lol. The one thing i noticed with all my colouring was that the colours are brighter than copics or that might be that I choose the more muted colours naturally.

It wasn’t as easy to colour when you don’t have the copic number system and although the b&m pens have a number they don’t really mean anything that I could tell anyway lol.

This time I didn’t make the whole card just coloured the image but I had fun and that’s the important bit, I know I will be doing this in anticipation of my next trip as it was so relaxing to get up and colour whilst my hubbie slept.

Limited Supplies = lots of fun

This card shows what you can do with limited supplies and still make something. I was recently on holiday and I took a very small crafting kit with me, some printed images, crayola pencils, b&m sketch markers and a set of skin and hair colours from amazon and a few sheets of card. Of course I took a die cutter with me and I might have bought some Dies but still for me it was a small kit lol.

I really liked the amazon pens, the colour choices are great and I used them a lot, the b&m ones are juicier and the colours don’t necessarily go but I made them work and I had fun which is the most important bit. 

Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man

Almost the last of the cards from last year, this time using the CC designs Spider-Man and a digi background from a now closed store. I made the webs on my cricut and cut them in the frame, I do like using my cricut for stuff like this, I’ve made so many stencils and card bits with it, I would be lost without it now.

 

American Classic

The last of the car cards for the moment, I’m not promising it will be the last ever just the last I have currently made lol.
