I used the larger limetree cards again this time the red ones and made a few of this design, I am trying to only make smaller batches this year as I need to use some of the hundreds of christmas stamps and dies I own. Lets see if that is still the case at the end of december lol.
I used the hero arts wreath stencil, I was originally going to over stamp with the stamp set but decided it worked exactly as it is.
This card design used all stuff I could find after moving from my tiny craftroom to my new space and I am still trying to find my way around having twice as much space and wondering how I ever fitted into the previous room lol.
The die and papers were from Die Cutting essentials magazine and the card bases from limetree, they came together really quickly and I liked the larger size too.
My first Christmas card of 2024 and made in July.... I really wanted to make more but I ran out of steam and mojo lol.
This was such a simple design and quick too so hopefully I will have made a few more by now.
I can scarcely believe its december already, it was june yesterday or so it feels anyway, I am hoping that all of my cards are almost made and I can enjoy december without rushing around...who am i kidding lol
I know this seems an odd December 1st post but I wanted to wait until all of the cards had been received before posting to my blog. I had so much fun making these cards and even discovered I could make my own enamel dots with a circle background die and ink to paper oxides, if I add glossy accents then they become shiny enamel dots but I like the matte look myself.
I am hoping to be back everyday in december with my christmas card makes but as I am writing this post in May that might change lol.
