Get Well Soon Mark

My boss has just had a hip replacement and I wanted to send him a get well soon card, I saw this image on Dustin Pike's blog and thought he looks familiar, and yes you guessed it I already had the image, I always used to laugh when people said they bought the same stamp, image or paper twice now I can see how easy it is to do lol.

I hope he likes the card and that he feels better soon, I know how much pain he has been in lately and I have a feeling that after this operation there will be no stopping him.

Leaving on a Jet Plane....

Two good friends at work are leaving to pursue new career paths and I wanted to wish them good luck and fond fairwell.

I decided to use my go to new job/role leaving image and use it for both of them. Julia loves gold so hers just had to have gold as the main colour, Donna loves all things black so I decided to use very different colours for hers.

I wish them both well in their new adventures and hope they will keep in touch.

Fairy Dust Weekend

Yeah its the weekend, time to laze around, make cards and sleep woohoo.

This card was made with a very girly girl in mind, so lots of sparkle, pretty pastel colours and cute images, I enjoyed colouring this image and she has lots of stickles, glossy accents etc all over.

Good Food and Good Friends

I seem to be MIA a lot at the moment and I must say I do miss blogging. No reason for my absence except work is keeping me busy and I just seem to want to curl up on the sofa when I get in.

Last night I went for dinner with some good friends from work and had a sit down Chinese and loved it, I can't believe I have never had one before, so much nicer than a takeaway to.

Excuse the extremely fuzzy photo I tok it just before rushing out the door and there isn't the opportunity to take another.

Green Again

Ok so before I begin on the card I think I need to explain the amount of green cards recently, I don't mean recycled either lol.

I don't know about anyone else but I seem to go through stages with papers and this kit is no exception. It had sat on my computer for months without so much as a passing glance when I needed to make a golfing card and the argyle paper was so perfect and since then I have used it multiple times. It doesn't help I suppose that the people I am making for at the moment all love green but I am hoping for some pinks, purples, greys well just about any combo to make an appearance soon.

Anywhoo onto the card, used the very versatile paper kit from Summer Driggs called Fresh Start and this time I used the snippets rather than print new sheets, in fact the black and green card came from the snippet box so apart from the image oh wait a minute I used a part sheet of white to stamp onto, see I am now so used to using snippets I forget that I am doing it lol.
