Wow it is hard to believe it is 2012 already, seems like only yesterday I was starting this blog.
Today's card is for my cousin who celebrates her 29th Birthday today, I can still remember the film I was watching when we got the call to say she had arrived. The film was "Towering Inferno" if you were wondering lol.
Anyway onto the card, I bought one of those small sewing machines from Instore/Poundstretcher and this is my first attempt using it. I know I have covered up most of the sewing but if you could see it you would understand why lol. Not the fault of the machine which is fab by the way but more the operator. More practice is required I think.
Ingredients:
Image: Lilli of the Valley
Papers: Nit Wit "Lifes Lemons"
Cardstock: Recycled and coloured with copics.

I love this card Amanda! The detail in your colouring (yup, I blew the piccie up for a closer look) is terrific. How enterprising of those little mice to make themselves a winch :)
Oooer, I remember Towering Inferno well - I was a huge fan of Robert Wagner at the time so was bereft when he perished in the film :))

Gorgeous card Amanda and such a beautiful choice of colours, reminds me of spring lol! Well done on the stitching too, I think you've done a fab job for a 1st attempt so don't put yourself down sweetie! I remember the Towing Infierno...well that's what my younger brother used to call it anyway lol! :) Donna ♥ x

Love it :o) Fab image and love the colours. Your stitching looks great compared to my first attempt, I keep saying it but I really must get to grips with my sewing machine... something else to do this year lol! Lisa x
Another little beaut Amanda. I'm sure you will get the hang of the machine in no time. I should use mine on my cards more
