A few thank you cards

Hello All

Well I have been creating, finally I hear you say, I returned to the scene of the crime though lol. When I first started crafting I loved decoupage and would sit for hours cutting and sticking them together, that didn't change until I found my copics and my love of digi and now real stamps began.

Like most my first stamps were penny black but I could never colour them in so they got resigned to the back of the drawer and I had forgotten I had them until I was looking for a sentiment stamp and found a pile of them. So the first of my cards today is using a penny black clear stamp, not sure which set but it is too cute. The papers were in my snippet drawer so I am entering Di's snippet challenge with it. Sorry about the really bad picture i hadn't realised how much the colours were out but it is too late now as it is already in the post.

My second card is using the Forever Friends Black and Gold CD (unbelievably free with a magazine) I used the decoupage and papers from the cd for this. I have never really been a fan of cd crafting, too much faffing for me but this cd is so easy to use it practically uses itself.

Thanks for looking
Amanda

Hi Amanda - two lovely cards here, and great colouring on the PB stamped one. Good to see you in the playground - go and try out the pogo sticks we recently got :)

Err, you asked on WOYWW how the stamp organising is going. Shall we say 'slowly' after the first burst of enthusiasm?! Think I need to devote (say) three hours a week in one go to it. Yup, that's how I'll tackle it - thanks for the little prod, a decision has been made! Please call back again to poke me again :)

Hello Amanda

Thank you so much for your kind comment on my blog. The Baby Footprints stamp is from Hero Arts number B2060. I've had the stamp for ages and not too sure if it is still around.

I've been browsing you blog, and you rcards are gorgeous. I love the FF cards, the colours brilliant.

Hello Amanda,
Thank you for the lovely comment on my blog today. I'm very chuffed as it was my first time out with the Spectrum Noirs.
Two lovely cards here as well. I bought the CD when it first came out mainly for the backing papers. I popped it neatly away and promptly forgot I had it. Thanks for the reminder. :)

Both cards are great, but I do love the Forever Fiends one, the background is so elegant. I do use the computer and cd's but I do use my graphics programmes to alter things to suit me and what I want. I sometime scan stamped images and then change them too to fit where I want. xx Maggie

I have some freebie cd's from magazines and like you have never used them. Should do really as they certainly save on buying new supplies. Love your penny black card. I have one penny black stamp in my stash and love the image. Would have been by sooner but for the pogo incident and then my internet provider chucking me off to do a maintenance upload. Hugs Mrs A.
