This stamp set is so fantastic to colour in every medium I have used so far, I've tried copics, stamping up markers, watercolour and now prismas. I took some of these stamped images with me on a recent trip and spent many a happy hour colouring them with my prismas, only problem was trying to match them to card or papers once I got home, next time I think I will take some papers to match with me.
I was inspired by several cards made with this set my Stephanie's fab design team, I combined a few of the elements and hopefully I have done the image justice.
Ingredients
Image and sentiment: "happy everything" Clearly Besotted
Card: white is Michaels 110lb, purple is Core'dinations
Die: "notebook" edge from mft
Ink: "lilac posies" memento and "black liquorice" hybrid ink from mft

You are Amazing
I fell for this set from pti but I was being a bit tight and only bought the dies, of course when I came to use the dies without the stamp didn't work, so of course I had to get the stamps, I sometimes wonder will I ever learn lol.
I have wanted to try the watercolour background for a while but I don't have a lot of watercolour paper to practice so I found some old papermill card and decided to give it a whirl, I have to say I'm very impressed it reacted with the water brilliantly, die cut like a dream and is now enjoying a new lease of life in my craft room.
I used three distress inks for this background, evergreen bough, salty ocean and tumbled glass. I smushed them onto my craft sheet, spritzed with water then just dropped and smushed the paper into the ink, once it was dry I pounced it back into the pools of ink to get a more concentrated colour. Such an easy process I can't believe I've not done it before.
Ingredients:
Image and sentiment: "amazing" pti
Dies: blueprints 15 by mft and amazing by pti
Card: Papermill
Embossing powder: Stampendous detail white.
Challenges: less is more

I know I'm unusual but I always make my own birthday card from my hubbie, I know this is the only way I will get one plus this way I get to purchase items to make the card as well.
I was tempted by the good friend Incy who informed me that MDS had a sale so of course I had to go look and a few things fell into my basket. I used a style that I have been admiring on Vicky's blog and have wanted to try for a while of course first I needed to purchase the MFT blueprint.

Scientifically speaking
At school ( I know it was a long time ago) I loved anything scientific, experiments, periodic table, reactions of elements, you name it I found it fascinating. I still remember the Liebig condenser and being amazed that you could combine the same elements using different techniques and get different compounds, see I told you I was fascinated lol.
I bought the clearly besotted science set straight away and couldn't wait to ink it up.

Ink : mft steel grey

Oh No Polly and her Perfume again.....
I love this stamp as you could probably tell if you look back through my blog. She is so versatile and looks great coloured brightly like below or subtly. I was going to paper piece the chair this time but once I got my copics out there was no stopping me. The papers I used have a bit of significance as the person the card this is for lives in Newport and thats what the paper collection was called, good job she likes bright colours lol.

Mad About....Fishing?
I bought this stamp at the same time as the golf one I used in september last year, they are both very large stamps and they lend themselves to paper piecing which you know is one of my favourite things to do. I started this card in September but it has taken me this long to make it into a card, I just couldn't decide what size and shape of card to use and in the end went for a simple one as I felt the image says it all.
I have used the first paper pack I ever bought, its by Papermania and is all blues, oranges and browns but I have lost the front cover so have no idea what it is called lol. It was perfect for paper piecing though as there were lots of small bits already cut. As I used both recycled card and snippet I am off to the playground.
