This card sort of evolved all on its own, I wanted to make a jersey for my cousin and I knew the colours I wanted but finding a background to match the very bright green was impossible so I made my own. I'm pleased with how it ended up but I think if I had my time over I would change a few
things.
I cut the jersey twice once in real red and once in white and coloured the green with my copics and pieced it all together. I wanted the jersey to be the main element on the card and the background was supposed to be just that but it did end up slightly more prominent than I wanted. I tried placing the circles randomly but that just isn't me so I devised a pattern and stuck to that, once the other elements were adhered it isn't as easy to see the pattern anyway and it looks more random.

Suited and Booted
I was stuck for ideas for this card when I remembered the suit die I had to have back in May, I was originally going to use the bow tie version but I thought the normal tie looked better. I can't believe the sentiments go so well with this.

Making Cards Magazine
After the christmas card craftathon and the great tidy up before the guests arrive I always find it hard to get back into the crafting groove, I don't lose my mojo exactly more I get the urge to use up stuff I have and stream line my supplies, thankfully this never lasts long lol.
I bought the December copy of "making cards" as I liked the images and as I didn't have anything else accessible I used all the elements on this card.

BeBunni
This was the free stamp that Crafters Companion sent out with their birthday orders this year, I hadn't used the one from last year so I didn't hold out much hope of using this one but I decided to stamp it before putting it away and I'm so glad I did. After colouring with my copics I wanted to create a background, something I've been enjoying a lot lately and this time I wanted to use my distress inks. I created a mask using a full adhesive post it note and inked the background, I have the inkadinkado masking sheets but I can't bear to cut into them, I think I need help lol.

Cutie Cat
I couldn't believe that this stamp was only £1, ok so the website "every crafts a pound" should have given away the price but still a quid what can you get for that nowadays.
I wanted to colour the cup and saucer in aqua/lavender as my Aunt loves these colours then of course came the problem of finding the matching papers but good old shabby princess to the rescue and the best bit they were already in my snippet folder.

Just like buses.....
In 2013 it seemed like everyone was having a baby and I was making cards left, right and centre. Then 2014 and nothing, no new little ones, my cousin announced she was expecting but that it was due in January so I had plenty of time to get myself organised and make a card......well he arrived a month early the day after his mum's birthday and totally unexpected. I think he wanted to celebrate christmas with us.
Anyway onto the card, I've been in christmas card mode since september so any other cards have been fairly simple and this is no exception, its a tried and tested baby card and I can't see me changing the format anytime soon lol.

No Line Colouring
If anyone asks me in the future have I tried no line colouring I can answer "yes indeed" if they then ask me would I do it again I would answer "not on your nelly" lol. I like to speed colour, that is I decide on my colours, one quick pass and I'm done, I don't revisit, deepen my shadows etc, I like quick and dirty. No line colouring is the polar opposite, it look me over an hour to colour one image, normally I would have coloured at least five in that time, I also kept getting lost and had to refer to the normal stamped version I was using as a reference. So I think I can safely say this is a one of a kind card lol.
