Winter Penguin

I have been liking Nichol Magourik's cards with the frames for a while, she uses frames on most of her cards and I think its very effective. I don't have any large rectangle dies so I used a blueprint and the largest rectangle from the cross stitch stax to create the frame, there are two layers but I think I should have cut a third.

This is definitely a style I will be using again as I think it makes a very plain card pop.

Ingredients
Image: "winter penguin" Lawn Fawn
Dies: cross stitch rectangle, blueprints 13 both MFT, stitched hillside from lawn fawn and tree border from clearly besotted
Sentiment: "white christmas" stampin up
Distress inks: tumbled glass, faded jeans and chipped sapphire

Copics
Scarf - R24, 29
Penguin - W9, 7, 5, YR07, 04
Tress - E74, G28
