Creative Stamping does it again

Every issue of this magazine has phenomenal stamps with it, a whole sheet packed with versatile images, I don't buy every issue as some don't appeal to me but they are still excellent value.

I had an idea in my head and although it looks nothing like it I still think its ok for a guy card.

Donut worry - Be Happy

Im on a roll with Lawn Fawn at the moment, ok so not so much a roll but I have made more than one card lol.

I have again been inspired by Nichol Magourik, her style of card making appeals to me and although I don't follow her exact concept I am inspired by it.

I wanted the donuts to all be different and I tried to make the plainer one look glazed, I did forget to add the sprinkles though doh!

The embossed sentiment didn't quite work but in real life you can read it just lol.

Its your birthday - be a little shellfish

I love the punny sentiments Lawn Fawn uses and I had to get this set as soon as it was released and here I am just using it, there was a reason I have used it if I want the new lawn fawn release I have to have used the last one lol. I seem to be in a never ending cycle of buying stuff and not using it for months, i've tried so many methods to break this but none seem to work so any suggestions would be welcomed.

This was a fairly simple card to make, I wish I had cut the peekaboo window a bit higher but I still like the end result. I took inspiration for the colours from Nichol Magourik and Sandy Allnock as I had no idea where to start lol.

To the Bride and Groom

One of the young ladies from my Bristol payday group got married recently and of course I couldn't let the occasion pass without sending her a card, I wish her and her new husband a lifetime of happiness.

I struggle with sympathy cads but the ones I struggle to make the most are actually wedding cards, I used to make a lot of them and I think that is where the problem lies, I have a set idea of what it should look like which isn't my current style so I struggle. Still I hope they like it.

Case'd Again

Last May I case'd a card by the very talented Elaine, this time I changed things up a bit but its essentially the same design. The card I made last year was for the same person who I made this card for but they didn't get last years version as my Hubbie decided he wanted it instead lol.

So this time I decided to colour the large controller rather than the small one, it was easier to colour but I'm not sure you get the same depth on the larger image, I can see this being a card I replicate again though.

Hello, What's Up

I have been patiently waiting for this stencil to be back in stock, ok I say patiently but its craft supplies, I had an idea I needed the stuff yesterday lol. It did ship quickly from Germany and I will be ordering again.

The card is busier than I anticipated and I kind of wish I had put a large white mat before I attached the phone but I'm sure the recipient won't notice.

More stencils I hear you shout, I hear you, I promise the next card won't have stencils on it, ok so I can't promise but I will try lol.

Ice Princess

Before I bought the "secret stamp club" princesses from the Greeting Farm I bought this digi and she has been sitting in a drawer uncoloured ever since. She reminded me of Elsa from Frozen and when I found her this idea popped into my head and it worked, woohoo lol.

I seem to be using my stencils a lot at the moment and I am enjoying ink blending but I do think I might need to use some of the paper mountain that is taking over my room lol.

I couldn't find cardstock to match so I used peacock feathers to colour some white again I like this look but its not reducing my card stock mountain lol.

Dog in Sneaker

Very unoriginal title for this post but the stamp is called "oh boy" and this card is for a girl so that didn't seem right so I went with exactly what you see lol.

I was channelling my inner "alice" for this card although there isn't any wash tape on it. I like her style of beautifully coloured images with just a pop of pattern or colour, I just wish I could colour like her.
