Last year I watched a video by Vicky where she used the Penny Black set "buddy with duck" and made a gorgeous card using the duck with balloons. I have been searching for that set ever since without success so imagine my surprise when I spotted this one (it is similar but not identical) at the Newbury show.
I couldn't wait to colour it and that is where it has sat until now that is. I haven't added a sentiment as I count decide where to put it lol.

Congratulations A La Mode
Every time I want to wish a friend good luck I seem to use this image, these images are what introduced me to MFT and I still miss them. My collection is however quite extensive and there are a few that have never seen ink but this isn't one of those as she is one of my most used stamps.
Maybe my next challenge should be to make cards with the a la modes that haven't been used, I do need to challenge myself sometimes especially when I'm in a creative rut like now. Again I reinvented a previous card I have made for this one and no it didn't kick start my mojo lol.

Stamping Bella Audrey
I have used this stamp multiple times and every time it looks different, its so versatile and perfectly matches the elegant look of the person I'm sending it to.
There isn't much else to say except my mojo is missing so I copied a card i have made previously, this can help to kick start my mojo sometimes but not always. I am hoping my mojo returns soon as I have a lot of cards to make.

Never have too many .....
This new stamp catalogue of mine is certainly highlighting all the unused and unloved stamp sets I own and this is another of them. I have a playday friend who is shoe mad so I thought ok make her a card with shoes on and that was that. Quick, simple and hopefully well received.
I am enjoying shopping my stash much more than I imagined, I suppose like most of us I see the new and shiny, want that but by the time it arrives at my home there is newer and shinier stuff and I want that more. So it sits unloved in a box with all the other unused stamps but no more, if I haven't used it or thought of a card I need for the future then it deserves to be loved by someone else.

Pampered Pets
One of the fab things apart from the people about going to a craft group is that we all have different styles and tastes. At the March playday one of the girls brought along stuff she no longer wanted and put them on a table for anyone to grab, I went to take a look and this stamp jumped out at me. I couldn't believe that she didn't want it but she thought it was too fussy so I proceeded to stamp and colour it straight away, I even knew the design I was going to make with it.

Mini Cat Agenda
A good friend of mine recently passed a very difficult exam and I wanted her to know I was proud of her and that she was "brilliant" lol. I have been itching to use these mini cat agenda stamps before the mini dogs arrive at my door. They have also released the matching dies but I am resisting as I love fussy cutting but these stamps are so tiny that the dies might end up being essential....who am I kidding no craft supplies are essential.......

Art Impressions - Giant Cake
When I was colouring this image I didn't realise quite how large it was. It was only when I went to pop it on a card I thought blimey its huge lol.
I used the coloured image on the packaging for my shadows and its different to my normal style as I only used two colour shading in the most part. I have used this before on an AI image and I think its effective and fun too.

King of the Grill
I had forgotten I bought this stamp set, why I had I have no idea as its amazing. I was inspired to make a card with a Maze on it, (i know this is nothing like a maze card) after seeing the new MFT card kit and I remembered I had a Papertrey Ink set and whilst looking for that set I found this, phew that took a while to explain lol.
It took three attempts to line it all up and also to choose the right colours for each element but I am more than happy with it and I might even make a few more. I was thinking of a blanket when I made the background and used the straight line Stampin Up stencil just twisted it to make a cross hatch design.
Ingredients
Image: "king of the grill" Papertrey ink
Dies: "cross stitch rectangle stax" from MFT
Background: "line stencil" from stampin up and "festive berries and faded jeans" Distress inks
Inks (all papertrey ink)
Bun - Fine linen and classic kraft
Lettuce - Green Parakeet
Sentiment - Blueberry Sky
Burger - Dark Chocolate
Cheese - Bright Buttercup
Ketchup - Pure Poppy

Don't go Bacon my Heart.... I couldn't if I Fried
Ok so the title of this post is punny but so are the sentiments in this set. My hubby and I recently celebrated 25 years of marriage, I don't know who is more surprised to have gotten here in what seems like a flash lol.
I made him a card and I knew it couldn't be soppy or sentimental so I went with punny instead.
Ingredients

Dies: "wonky stitched rectangles" from MFT
Card: "enchanted evening" Papertrey Ink
Copics
bacon - E18, 17, 15, 13, 11
