Another same but different card, I was batch making the once upon a time set and I had stamped this image and was about to add the happy birthday die when it occurred to me that this was a perfect card for my Hubbie, so I added a sentiment from the set and his age and it was done

Once Upon a time....the end for now....
In my last post about these cards I wasn't going to show you all of them until after the peoples birthdays but I realised they won't know if any of these cards are theirs lol.
I enjoyed this style and design very much and I hope to make more, until then I will leave you with the remainder of this batch

Once upon a time....again and again
And another of these style cards, this time for a lady rather than a gent. I am wanting to colour this image but sometimes you do what you have time for and this is all the time I had.
I have made about 9 in total of this style but you will have to wait a lot longer to see most of them as the birthdays are in 2020.
Now you might be forgiven for thinking this means I have finished this years birthday cards but alas that isn't the case lol. I still have about 30 to make before I can even think about christmas and some are big birthdays too.

Once upon a time....again
I was enjoying this style of card so much I started going through my stash for images that look better as line drawings rather than coloured in and I spotted this one from a very, very early Creative stamping.

Once upon a time .....
I saw a card in a shop and knew I had to make my own version of it. I can honestly say this is the first time I’ve been inspired by a shop card but it’s a very me Card lol.
I have made quite a few so expect to see them over the next few days.
The card in the store had a PS controller on it but I only have an xbox type so I went with what I had.

What's Up Dude Card 2
I have been really trying to make two cards in each session and so far it seems to be working. Now I am not sure if that still applies in October as this card was made in July lol.
I have used another of the stencils I purchased in Florida, this was in a set of 8 cake stencils and it works perfectly for cards. Other than that its a simple theme and I did add the age to it afterwards but that was all.

Game Day
I bought this rather large and rather heavy wooden stamp on a visit to Florida in 2018, I was impressed by the samples in the store and I knew I had to have it. Of course once I got it home it intimidated me and it took a year to finally colour it.
In fact it was Jane who was with me when I bought it asking if I had coloured it that made me decide to use it for her birthday card, so I hope you liked it Jane.
I stupidly didn't keep a list of the colours I used but I doubt I will be colouring it again in a hurry lol.

Be Original Version 2
This card was made at the same time as the red one and again I used twine but next time I will remember the embroidery floss hopefully lol.
Not much else to say except I wish I had used this die and stamp set earlier, I do this all the time< I buy a set then can't remember what I wanted to do and it sits unloved and unused. I need to get better at recording my ideas and then maybe I will start doing rather than dreaming.
Ingredients
Image and Sentiment: "be original" from MFT
Ink: "boysenberry" from MFT
Dies: A2 stitched rectangle stax from MFT
Card: "grape jelly" from MFT
Stencil: "distressed stars" Folk Art

Girl Power 2
The second image from this set has been used already too, ok so I coloured her at the same time as the other one from the set but at least she has made it onto a card lol.
I borrowed the background stamp from a friend and it was so perfect, I kind of wish I had stamped a few more as I have lots of book style images that would work with this.

Be Original
MFT - My Favourite Things recently announced a return of this stamp and die set, now I have the "original" be original and I had never used it but seeing all the design team cards made me decide to use it.
I went with a fairly simple design but I am pleased with how it turned out, I kind of wish I had used embroidery floss rather than twine but there is always next time as the saying goes.

Image and Sentiment: "be original" from MFT
Ink: "wild cherry" from MFT
Dies: A2 stitched rectangle stax from MFT
