In amongst the coloured images I found this little robot boy partially coloured in and I thought he needs to be used. this whole card came together just to use up one tiny image but I do like the finished result.
This was the last colour scheme for this stencil, well on this occasion anyway lol. Once my new altenew inks arrive I am sure there will be more.
I did change the grey colours for brown but that was the only thing different.

When I showed my crafty friends the finished cards this was the favourite colour scheme and now I see it on the screen I can see why, the purples are such a pretty colour.
I wonder what the next colour scheme will be, I think true blue would look nice or maybe orange...

In this version I tried two different pink ink sets and I am more drawn to the Altenew version as the palest colour really makes the others pop,

As soon as this stencil arrived I couldn't wait to ink it up. I could never make the layered stamping sets work so I didn't hold out much hope for the stencils but my oh my they are easier and better too.
The leaves came together really quickly and when I lined up the flowers it didn't look like it fitted but it did and perfectly too.
I may have gone a bit mad and made quite a few of these in lots of different colours lol. I also now need to buy all the altenew cube sets lol.

I made a card almost identical to this one and I used the same colours for the shoes but I didn't have anymore of the papers so after I made the red shoes with pink petticoat I went back and printed some more and this works so well and I have so many colour choices left too.

I am not sure what I love about this random stencil background but I can assure you I do love it and you will be seeing more of it too lol.
I was just messing around with the stencil and used the newest (to me) distress oxides and I love the way they blend together to create a soft lilac/purple.

For my christmas present this year I asked for a years subscription to "creative stamping" and my hubbie actually signed me up for 20 issues...woohoo.
The only proviso was that before the next issue arrives I need to have made something with the current issue. These cards were my first and only attempt with the first issue but they were fun to create and definitely something I will replicate.

This image is only a dollar from Mo Manning and what a bargain and it’s totally adorable too. I think it’s my favourite of the 1st birthday boy cards, not sure if it’s the image or the papers or the combo of the two that appeals to me so much.

Some Odd Girl was closing their own website and had all the images 50% off so of course I bought a lot. You have already seen the panda card I created and there are a few more coming too. I will admit I printed this girl too big and I didn’t notice until she was all coloured in how large she was. Didn’t leave a lot of real estate to create a different layout so I went with this one which is just a flipped version of my stripy background lol.
