Skater Girl

I bought this stamp in the sale at Quixotic Paperie and it is one I have been after for a while. I had the snippets on my desk after a bit of a tidy up and decided to use the scraps rather than find somewhere to store them lol. I wish it was so easy to use all my scraps this way, I need to find a way to store my 6 x 6 paper pads plus scraps together so that they get used. Any ideas welcomed.

Hi Amanda

I hope you are well. Sorry I haven't been around much .. .. busy, busy, busy!!!

Loving how you have used your snippets. Gorgeous colour combo and a fabby image too.

My 6x6 pads and any snippets from the pad get stored in freezer bags with the little zippy tops .. .. of course while the pads are new they look a bit daft in there but eventually as the pads fall to bits the bags become a great way to keep all the stray pages and snippets together.

Hope you have a lovely Easter break.

Love Jules xx

Love that image Amanda - and such gorgeous colours too. A lovely snippets card!

I'm like Jules, although at first I store my paper pads (flat) in a shallow foolscap sized drawer....... or three. Any snippets are tucked inside the front cover until the point when either the cover comes loose or the snippets are taking over - then I do the same as Jules and store the remains of the pad and snippets in a bag. Mine are a cheaper version to Jules, I use the bags you pack A5 cards in - with the top well turned over and sealed. They do open and close easily enough but I think I might just hop into the kitchen and raid the poly bag drawer for the zipped top bags. Sainsburys (and Morrisons now) sell them - I just hopped and tried....can't get 6" pads into Sainsburys small zipped top bags so medium could be safer:))

Hugs, Di xx

Your card is a sweetie...she is such a lovely image!

I saw a girl glue 6x6 envelopes to the back of her 6x6 pad. she then stored scraps in there...I thought i might give it a try too!
Right now I use the 6x6 card sleeves.
