So this card is the first of three that I made with the February/March issue of Creative Stamping, I am not showing all three yet though as a few of the recipients might follow my blog, I will however post those after their birthdays.
This magazine was an absolute joy to work with and I made ten cards in the space of a few days all using the images. I will be showing those other cards soon too.
All the cards used background stamps, versa fine ink and prismacolour pencils plus the MOD stitched rectangle from MFT.

Lili of the Valley Number Bears Version 1
The first of the years Fifth birthday cards, there are six altogether and all the girls follow this design minus the eclipse feature. At this point I haven't made the little boy version so that might be completely different.
I had this idea and it surprisingly worked. I printed and coloured the bear and number 5 and then used the dies to cut out her name across the card. This was a little tricky as there was only one "L" so I cut all the layers first in red card stock and used those as placeholders before I cut the letters. The one L is a little wonky but I think its still works. For such a simple looking card though it was a lot of work lol.
Ingredients
Image: "number bear" Lili of the Valley Digistamp
Dies: XXL stitched square from Crealies, large alphabet dies from Ebay
Card: "real red" from Stampin Up
Copics
Bear - E47, 44, 43, 42, 41, 40
Ground - W4, 2
Number - R59, 39, 37, 35

Creative Stamping 53 take 2
Another take on the Creative Stamping issue 53 magazine and again using the Debbi Moore set of images. I only made three of this design and I will admit I wish I had made more as I think its my favourite of the designs so far.
Each version was coloured differently to represent who they were intended for. Hopefully none will see this before their birthdays as I don't think any follow my blog.
I am so happy I brought my prisma pencils home with me, I just need to remember I have them more than I currently do lol.

Altenew Roses
Once again the UK magazines have out done themselves, the March issue of "simply cards and paper craft" contained an altenew build a rose die set, three layers for the rose and two for the leaves. I couldn't wait to create with it and I wasn't disappointed either. It cut like a dream and when assembled was even more effective than I expected.
My only difficulty was deciding on how to assemble the card, in the end I went back to a style I have used before and will probably use again lol.

Sentiment: "say it in style" Clearly Besotted "blu raspberry" ink from MFT
Card: "grout gray" MFT, "dark charcoal" from Micheals

Leaves: "new leaf" Papertrey Ink, "sour apple" MFT
Blue Rose: "blu raspberry", "berrylicious", "sno cone" all MFT
Background stamp: "wood plank" MFT, "grout gray" ink from MFT

Creative Stamping Issue 53
The fist design using this magazine, which I have to say is amazing, I went with a very similar looks for all the subsequent variations as if it ain't broke don't fix it lol.
I did use the Concord and 9th plaid background on this version, this set is amazing. You get a large check and then two thin lines. I cut a piece of cranberry card stock from michaels into four pieces and then stamped all the background with versa fine onyx black, having a misty certainly helped in this process. Once they were dry, which took a while I covered all the pieces with my anti static bag and then stamped the two lines in between the check and embossed with stampendous gold embossing powder. In real life this is so stylish, it was such a shame to cover almost all of it but I can see this being a design for my christmas cards.
I will apologise in advance for my overuse of the MOD stitched rectangles, I have coveted them for a while and normally that means I never use them but in this instance the opposite has happened and I can't put them down.

Mothers Day UK
I have posted both of the cards, they have arrived at there destination so I can safely show them on here.
Before I get to the cards though I wanted to wish all the Mums out there a very happy mothers day, I hope you get spoilt and enjoy a day all about you.
Ok so the cards, when I was printing the Lili of the Valley Number Bears I thought maybe I could use the letters to spell a word, so I tried it and these cards are the result.
I went with fairly simple in the end and let the bears be the star of the show.

Playtime
I was a bit stuck on what image to use for this card, I wanted to use a greeting farm image but I couldn't find the right one so I went a completely different direction instead. This card though does look very similar to the one I made her last year so next years needs to be very different.

Harry with Beer
Along the same lines as the "snuggle bunnies" cards when I printed the standing "harry with beer" I also printed the frame version. I coloured them at the same time and made the same but different versions. This was the idea that kick started my mojo. I know that making this a regular thing won't work but I do know that it does help my creative juices start to flow.
I do wish making multiples was a thing for me though as it would make this so much quicker to do, but then again if I wanted quick I could buy a card.

Chocolate Girl
This was my very first MFT stamp, this was the reason I found out the store was based in Florida. The rest they say is history but it was the best decision I have made to go visit that store, I found out there was a colouring class and that was that. Many thousands of dollars, classes, friends (who feel like family) and retreats later and I am still obsessed with all things MFT. I look forward all year to my visits to the store and get such a warm welcome from the staff and customers, no visit to florida is complete until I enter the store lol.
Ok onto the card, I used the new marble background stamp and white heat embossed and then just blended oxide inks over the top.
Ingredients

Dies: A2 stitched rectangle set 2, wonky stitched circles and rectangle sentiment frames all MFT
