Earl Grey Peep

I am sure I have used this image before but I can't find it on my blog, I might have mis-tagged it though lol.

This is more my normal or actually older style of card making and I must say I did enjoy it and it came together really easily, it was a bit like riding a bike. I use this saying a lot but it is so true, if it ain't broke don't fix it and this is so true of card making, sometimes we all rush to the newest style or technique without realising or remembering what we enjoy most about this hobby and for me that is making a card I think the recipient will like.

Ok enough rambling you came to see a card so here it is.

Ingredients
Image: "earl grey" peep from Stamping Bella

Spotlight Can

The second of the cards using the spotlight sentiment, the third won't be on here for a while as I am conscious they might check my blog so I will wait until later their birthday to post it.

I have used this can before and coloured it almost identically, this image is so useful for teenage boys, I think next time I need to try the coke bottle though.

Spotlight Beer Glass

A while ago in a blogpost I said I had coloured a third beer image and I hoped not would make to onto a card soon, well here is that image and I am as shocked as you that that happened lol.

I have gone with a style I have used before and will be on here again soon as I made a few cards in the same day lol. I have been trying to get organised and as I don't find that easy and it sucks my creativity  I have gone with a quick and easy design, no point reinventing the wheel for every card.

Thats all I have to say about it really except I wish I had made a few more lol.

Image: Drinks Trolley by Apple Blossom and Spotlight sentiments from MFT
Dies:A2 stitched rectangle stax from MFT

Sweet Dreams

Last year there were no new babies in my family or amongst my friends so when two announced this year they were adding to their families I was so pleased. So far only one has arrived and the other isn't due for a while so I haven't made two at the same time, we don't know if the other one is a boy or girl as they want a surprise.

This little girl was born a few weeks early just like her big brother almost five years ago, nothing else to say except "welcome to the family Aria" x

Stamping Bella Beer Day

I love these images so much, I have a lot of them but wish there were more. I wanted them so badly but at the time they weren't available in the UK so I had to make do with staring from afar, I did eventually manage to get my hands on them though and I bought all the ones I could find lol.

This is the second outing for this one and hopefully not the last, he's perfect for the guys that like a beer but I could mask the sentiment and also colour it like a pop bottle.

I coloured the little guy with grey trousers then once I decided on the paper thought brown would look better so I just used E74 and coloured over the top of them to give them a brown/grey look.

Stamping Bella Perk Me Up Again

This is a return to my older style of card making, I kind of enjoyed it too, not sure I will make many this way with all the layers but it was fun for a change.

If you are wondering why the cup is red here in the UK "Costa" is one of the most popular coffee chains, in this area it is considerably bigger than "starbucks" and they have red cups so as I've bought a costa gift card to go with this card it seemed appropriate lol

Ingredients
Image: "perk me up Peep" from Stamping Bella
Dies: blueprints 2, 13 and circle stax all from MFT and crealies xxl inside out stitched circles
Paper: "coffee time" Nit Wit
Card: "Berrylicious" from MFT

Photobomb Again

I copied my own card, I do that quite a bit when I have loads to make and no ideas, in fact I think the last three cards I’ve made have been copies. I think if I made it and liked it then why am I trying to reinvent the wheel lol.

It’s a clean and simple card but I hope the recipient likes it and that my friends is all that matters.

I only make cards to give to friends and family, so everything you see on this blog has got a home to go to, I think I’m unusual in this and that I don’t have a stockpile of cards ready to go. I wish I could but after a week like this one (6 cards needed quickly) I need a break, so then I don’t leave myself enough time before the next lot are needed. I know I need to be more organised but it’s soooo hard lol.

The Greeting Farm Fairest

I made lots of this style card a few years ago but I just realised I never used this particular image, or if I did I ant find a blogpost with her on. She was the first one I spotted in this line of stamps and she started the obsession with owning them all lol.

The colours are brighter than I would normally use but I like the finished result.

Wine Shaker 2

This is the second wine shaker card and I think my favourite of the two, all the info is the same as the previous card but I did change up the sequins a bit and of course add a few more. I do find it hard to judge how many is enough for a good shake but not too many so that it doesn't move at all, as they say practice, practice, practice lol.

Ingredients
Dies: wine shaker and large cheers both MFT
Paper: "black and white" from MFT,  "chalkboard" from We R memory keepers , glitter paper from Paperchase
Sequins - Rose gold, marshmallow and sparkling clear from Pretty Pink Posh
