Magic Picture Changer - First Attempt

When I bought this stamp set about two years ago this was the idea I had to use it, of course these dies didn't exist then and I tried to use the magic slider die but it didn't work, so when the dies were released I knew what card I needed to make first.

I am sure that next time I will line up the image a little better, I stamped him a little low and lost most of his legs lol. I do think this might be something I use again if not often as it was more fun than I care to admit lol.

Driving Test Card

This is one type of card that is lovely to make and personalise. I am sure that now she has passed her driving test there will be no stopping her and I am sure we will see less of her too.

Still I am pleased for her as this is something she has talked endlessly about for some time and I now will be a source of great pride and pleasure for her, so well done Ellie

Seaside Seagulls

About two years ago on a Florida trip I had a bit of a spending spree and bought so much stuff that now two years later I am just getting around to using it all. This has only happened because I have decided to shop my stash rather than buying more. I am about to change from my little craft room to a larger one as I have outgrown it and I thought I wonder how many stamps I have never used and this one caught my eye.

I would like to say that I will continue on this no buying regime but as this posts I will be returning from another trip to florida and I can't imagine I haven’t  bought anything lol.

Ingredients
Image and Sentiment: "seaside seagulls" from MFT
Dies:Blueprints 1 from MFT, scalloped dies from Clearly Besotted and semi circle from a friend
Distress Inks: salty ocean, blueprint sketch, squeezed lemonade and fossilised amber
Stencil: "radiating rays" from MFT

Cupcake Hamster

This wasn't the card I was making for my friend, I had already bought a different image and was going a completely different way when she said casually " I love your cards with hamsters" so I thought a hamster card it is then.

I went very simple and clean as I wanted the image to really stand out and I coloured it to look like their hamster "Roo" or "roudini" as we like to call him lol. He is like a mini escape artist but as he is so tame he comes back easily too.

Clearly Besotted We Go Together

This card required surgery to accomplish, the stamp set from Clearly Besotted has a dog and cat image for the gin and tonic but as the lovely couple have two dogs that seemed more fitting. So I used the other dog face from the cheese image also in the set.

I lost count of the number of times I tried to make this card, I cut a mask for the cat face and forgot to remove it - attempt 1, I tried to stamp a second time and it moved - attempt 2, I wiped away the excess ink from the cat face and forgot to dry the stamp - attempt 3....you get the picture lol.
