Sunshine on a Rainy Day

I don't know why but rainbows always make me smile and as soon as I saw the stripes on the stamps leggings I knew rainbow was the way to go. I bought a new large set from the greeting farm, I wanted the previous one but thought it was a lot of money but I must say they are worth it. Once I started on the rainbow scheme I couldn't seem to stop lol. I remembered I bought the rainbow die and cloud staxs from MFT so I decided to cut them both in white to see what they looked like. I coloured the rainbow with colics, the same colours as I used on the leggings, problem was I missed one colour so I had to leave one bit of the rainbow off.

Polka Dot Parade Trees

I'm still on my make two for one christmas card kick, it seems to be working for the moment so Im not going to stop and maybe, just maybe I might get them all finished.

my original idea was to create a shaker card and another with the die cut tree pieces stacked together but in the end I decided on inlaid die cutting as these create such flat cards, perfect for posting. In fact I enjoyed this so much I might make a few more in different greens.

Christmas Jumper

At last I've made a start on my christmas cards, every year I start with good intentions of making some in January but normally start in April/May but this year its October and I've made a grand total of 2, I think I might be buying some this year.

This card was quick and easy and the blueprints means that it came together super fast, maybe I should bulk make some. I'm not sure where the paper is from, I found it already printed in the snippet folder to be honest I'm not even sure its christmas paper lol.

I was worried that the sentiment would get lost on the busy paper but the die really holds it own, I'm very impressed with it and think I will be using it a lot.

Christmas Sparkle

Another set of batch cards, this time using the "christmas sparkle" set from clearly besotted. I have been trying to create cards without lots of layers as posting them has become so expensive, luckily this card doesn't need any additional postage so I think this might be a winner.

Party Time

I like the style of cards that Mary makes but I struggle to make mine as cas but I knew as soon as I saw this embossing folder that it would work for this look.

I stamped the uptown girls but I masked off the part where they connect so I was able to extract the one girl, I thought she looked fab on her own and wanted to use her for this particular person's card. Not sure I would go to the trouble again though as it took three attempts and a lot of swearing lol.

Giddy Up Cowgirl

I'm trying to use some of my huge unused stamp collection, a bit like Darnell's NBUS challenge, except this is a challenge to myself. I'm sure I'm not alone in my crafty spending habits, the stamp you just had to have that sits unloved and unused in a drawer out of sight because you feel guilty every time you look at it, the paper packs that are still unopened and don't even get me started on card, I must have seven, yes seven packs of nearly identical card from several companies and still I buy more.

Anyway enough waffling onto the card, I have used a piece of the above mention card, all I'm going to say is it is a start lol and a stamp that I've had for a while, it was so nice to colour I began to wonder why I hadn't coloured it before. I hope I use her again soon (no promises mind lol)
