Silhouette Cards Again

I made a set of these cards last year and I really enjoyed it so I thought I hate making sympathy cards so how about getting them ready but don't add the sentiment so I don't feel like I'm tempting fate. I love this technique from Jennifer McGuire but I did find it works much better with distress inks than oxides.

Ingredients
Images: "merci beaucoup" and "just darling" both Clearly Besotted
Inks: worn lipstick, picked raspberry, seedless preserves, tumbled glass, shaded lilac
Dies: A2 stitched rectangles from MFT

CC Designs Monsters Again

The cute monster stamps were sitting on my desk so this guy deserved to be coloured before I put the stamps away.

I have also had this stencil for ages and never even tried it, it worked like a dream and was much easier to line up than I expected, it is definitely one I will be using again.

Other than that its a quick, clean guy card and I am desperately in need of those at the moment.

Ingredients
Image: "monsters" from CC Designs
Dies: mod stitched rectangles and happy birthday both from MFT
Stencil: "cube builder" from Altenew

Girl power

The making cards magazine arrived and I made this card before I even read the magazine. I did follow the colouring colours Faye Wynn-Jones had used though.

Each month I think I'm not sure I will use the stuff and every time I think about possibly cancelling they issue the cutest set ever. More stamps like this please lol.

Art Impressions Guinea Pigs

I have a very good friend who is obsessed with Guinea Pigs, she used to have them and now wishes she could have them all. Whenever we visit a pet store she spends ages looking at them and I keep thinking one day she will have a herd of them.

I kept the card simple to highlight the image and I used colours from Tracy on the art impressions design teams colouring of the images.

1st Birthday Girl

This card was made in November for a very special ladies first birthday, time is rushing by and I still remember her mum's first birthday like it was yesterday, I was obviously a lot younger then lol.

This little one is very precious to us all and her smile and laugh brightens up a room, she is a very laid back young lady and a goofball to boot.

It was wonderful to spend the day with her and her family, she has an amazing mum and dad and big sister and I count my blessing that I get to enjoy them growing up.

Flying a Kite

Now I wish I knew what colours I used for this image but I really don't, he has been coloured ready to go for months and it did make this card quick to put together but I really should record the colours on the back or something.

Even for a quick card I used a lot of products lol.

CC Designs Monsters

CC Designs has recently introduced a new Illustrator to their line of stamps and I love them. This is the first set I have bought though and I can see them being a firm favourite along with Roberto's Rascals.

This card was a design I have made in the past and probably the last time I used this die set too. I wish I was better at remembering/using the stuff I have....Ive said it before that if I put myself on a ban I buy more its definitely an addiction lol.

Oh to be 21 again

My cousin’s daughter is turning 21, how on earth did that happen lol. She runs a beauty salon of her own so I wanted to use this particular set, I’ve had it for years and never used it before. It is by a company that I can't seem to find online anymore, this is a shame as I have about four sets of their stamps and the one "boys toys" has been used so much.

I masked the straighteners to pop the hairdryer behind it but kind of wish I had done it differently, too late now of course lol.

Other than that its a pretty clean and simple design, another made after my return from florida and when my crafty mojo was still missing.

Ingredients
Image: "girls stuff" Nina Marie Designs for Dimension Stamps
Number: "a la mode big numbers" retired from MFT
Dies: "mod rectangle" from MFT
Card: "raspberry fizz" Papertrey Ink

LOTV 4 - Lili of the Valley NumBears

Last year I made a stack of this style card, I was running out of time and needed a go to card to ensure that I didn’t end up sending it late.

I recently returned from a Florida trip for Christmas, which is why my cards and blog posts didn’t appear lol. It was a last minute trip and meant that I didn’t have time to make my January cards before January lol. Normally I’m a month ahead but not at the moment, I’m hoping this year isn’t more stressful than last year but it’s not feeling less yet lol.

Ingredients
Image: Number bears digi from lili of the valley (LOTV)
Dies: XXL stitched square from Crealies
Card: "amethyst allure" from Papertrey Ink

Copics
Bear - E35, 34, 31, 30
Ground - W4, 2
