If it Walks like a Duck and quacks like a Duck it must be Christmas

My nan always used to use that saying and it has sort of stuck with me over the years, so yesterday it was cold like December and it rained like December so I made some christmas cards lol.

I never spend as much time making a christmas card as I do one for a birthday, new baby etc as I know come January most will find their way to the bin. I still spend as much time colouring the images just go for a simpler way of putting it all together and this little card is no exception. I used everything from the snippet box except the image and it came together really quick too. I have about 6 of these gorgeous Chester images coloured ready to go, I bought quite a few in the closing down sale and printed them straight away and they have been sat patiently waiting to get made into cards ever since.

Great card there Amanda. I know what you mean about cards ending up in the bin. However, the girls in work always give me their cards in the hope I want to recycle them. LOL!
Thanks for your visit. If you want to use my bathroom you are most welcome!

That's a great image and I also have that free digi paper too! My philosophy is that it gives me a great deal of pleasure to make so I put as much or as little effort into it as I see fit at the time, I try not to think about where it might end up, lol!

How cute is this!!! I love the backing paper and your coloring is superb!
I only make Christmas cards for special people on my list and keep them rather simple as well. The people we only hear from once a year get store bought.
