Apple Blossom Beer Bottle

I am so glad I bought this stamp set from apple blossom, it’s a nice size, clear images and large enough to hold their own on a card.

I made two cards in one sitting again, the same but different this time and I enjoyed it too.

Stacey Yacula Birds

These images were coloured ages ago so the colours I used are escaping me but I do know I used crayola pencils and gambol lol.

This is one of those cards that seemed to make itself, everything I thought of worked and it was a dream, at one point I did think I was dreaming but thankfully I wasn't lol. Even the paper which in real life matches better than the photo was one of the lawn fawn free papers that fell out of my paper storage and I used all three pieces rather than put them away to forget about again.

Ingredients
Image: "tweet friends" Stacey Yacula at MFT
Dies: A2 stitched rectangles and hugs, with MFT
Paper: Lawn Fawn

Mermaid Reveal Wheel

I intended using the Twila Super hero girl for all the girlie six year old cards but having realised that this particular girl was heavily into mermaids I thought I would use an image that has never seen ink before.

I of course forgot to stamp the greeting above and below the reveal wheel opening but hopefully she still liked the card.

Sentiment: reveal wheel sentiments from lawn fawn
Dies: "reveal wheel" Lawn Fawn and hilltop from MFT

Have a Clawesome Day

I made this card last year and realised I forgot to blog it so the supplies list is a little light. I am sure I am not alone in having no idea what I used to make a card after Ive made it lol, that is why this blog is so useful to me. It shows me copic combos I have used and like, my most used dies and also what I haven't used before, this last one should have been a small list but its not lol.

Not much else to say except this was a fun card to make and now I have made a few interactive cards maybe I can make this one interactive next time.

Mothering Sunday 2019

I have finally gotten round to posting the pictures of this years Mother's Day cards for my Mum and MIL, I used Lili of the valley images and the eclipse technique on both and I'm happy with how they have turned out. Behind the die cut letters I used a darker card stock and from the side it really makes the letters pop, this is something I think I will be doing again as such a small change has made a big impact.

Ingredients
Image: "big present" and "favourite Friends" both Lili of the Valley
Sentiment: "keep it simple - mothers day by Papertrey Ink

Hello Gorgeous

This set of stamps by Penny Black was one I desperately wanted and I used three of the four before it went away, of course this isn't the one I hadn't used previously but I do really like these images, they are small enough but also make a big impact.

This was a last minute card needed before a night out so I didn't have a lot of time to sort it but Im pleased with how it turned out.

Rocker Boy Version 2

This is the second version, again a plain and simple card. I think the only thing I forgot to mention yesterday was that I have been over stamping in versa fine clair, I have found the trick is to keep the item in my Misti when I colour it in and then it doesn't seem to move.

Rocker Boy Version 1

I was asked on my last trip by one of the lovely ladies to place an order for these boys from CC Designs so of course I had to have a set too lol.

I have made two cards over two days and used both images, this is a bit unheard of for me to use all the images in a stamp set and so quickly but I had loads of fun colouring them so I thought why not make them into cards.

Both designs are simple but I think this one is the most simple, it was a joy to make and even started to spark the mojo.

Lovely Ladies

These cards are so not my usual style but I needed to get a lot of cards made fast and they were certainly that. Not as fast as I thought they would be though and not sure if that was me or my lack of mojo lol.

I used the making cards magazine free papers and lots of background stamps and thats about it really. I will add photos of all of the cards below and I understand if you scroll past lol.

Oxide Blends

I have been following Kristina Werner and her ink blending series and I have to say I have enjoyed the combos she has created. I really wanted to try the one with Old Paper but I don't have the ink in either medium, something I need to remedy lol. Always something else I need to purchase lol.

I made both cards at my friends house so I have no idea who makes the stamps, I kind of wish I did know as I think I might need them both lol.

Squeezed lemonade, spiced marmalade, candied apple

Cracked pistachio, peacock feathers, blueprint sketch

Friends at First Sip

I saw this design on one of the design team blogs and thought that will work perfectly for the card I wanted to make. I have definitely lost my mojo and I am trying my hardest to reignite the flame but at the moment I am struggling. I know this feeling will pass but its taking its sweet merry time lol.

Anyway onto the card, its fairly simple and that is never as quick as it looks lol. Not much else to say except I am hoping to have more to show soon.
