Merry Christmas Everyone

Just wanted to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. By the time you read this I will be peeling potatoes, preparing veggies and generally panicking before the guests arrive. Now I know it sounds like I do the cooking but I just help prepare and then get out of the kitchen until it is all finished lol.

May be back tomorrow with a card all depends on what crafty stash I get.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day and gets to spend time with your family.

Monday, Monday

Morning All

Well it is Monday and less than a week until the big guy in the red suit arrives. Nearly ready here just the food shop to get now, but the dilemma, which day do I brave the crowds and try and get enough food to feed the three thousand lol.
We have snow here in Wiltshire and I awoke on Saturday morning to a lovely white carpet all over the street, I love snow when I don't need to do anything but a week before Christmas, nooooo. Now if I awoke next Saturday to a lovely white carpet that would be better but not ideal as my family have to travel over and they may not get here. My mum said well there is always beans on toast for lunch, now that sounds like heaven and will probably be one of the things I crave over the festive period lol.

Have a safe and warm Monday

WOYWW - 16/12/2010

Hello All,
Its been a while since I played along with WOYWW and thought as the room is in full meltdown this ought to be the time I show some pictures to kick start the clearing up process. Been making lots of christmas cards and have been enjoyng making a mess.

On the desk is my trusty ATG, cutter, new non-stick scissors, and various glues and foam pads. I have recycled a letter rack into a card holder, not very practical as they keep falling out but it is pretty. I have made so many of these little cards I had to buy another pack lol.

Pop on over to Julia's blog and have a nosey at all the craft areas.

Another christmas card

Well I have nearly finished the christmas card pile and must say I have really enjoyed making them this year. I have finally moved my laptop into my craftroom and am enjoying watching tutorials whilst I craft. I normally stay in there just long enough to make the card I need but since moving the lappy in there I seem to be in there all the time.
On with the card, I have used a Digistamp Boutique image that I have seen on loads of cards and thought looked so cute. Coloured with my trusty copics and used some stickles and of course glossy accents. Digistamp boutique has 20% off their christmas images at the moment and have just seen the cute nativity kids on Kerry'sblog so may have to go get those as well. All my cards this year have been 4 x 4 and I can see myself using this size again, so cute and quick lol.

Final Beau Image - well until after Christmas

It's my last Beau image until after Christmas at least, need to finish the money wallets and christmas cards and not long left to get it all done. This card is for my cousin, she isn't a pink girl and I decided to go for different colours on this one and must say i really like it. Used Summer Driggs papers and cardstock I already had in my stash, used glitter and glossy accents as well. Really pleased with the hair again and can see me using this technique a lot. The Beau images are the special offer for December and at £2.45 for three it is a fab bargain.

Happy Birthday Mum

Its my Mum's birthday today and just wanted to wish her many happy returns. I always try and make her a card in blues as this is her favourite colour and as soon as I saw these papers I knew they would be perfect. I used a Mo Manning image as it reminded me of me as a little girl, I used Patience from Mo last year and Mum loved it.

I used my bow easy to make the bow and it is so long since I used it I had to watch a tutorial lol, It is really easy to use once you know how and can see me using it much more.

Beau - Second Card

Second card using this image, didn't get the hair as good as the last one but still like it. Lots of gems and sparkle on this one. Used a craftwork card sentiment that arrived with my goody bags on Sunday, the bags are fab and where a real bargain, wish I had bought them all now.

Forever Friends

It is my Aunt's 60th Birthday and I wanted to make a card that included Forever Friends. I used decoupage from an old QVC TSV and I must say I found it very relaxing. I had forgotten how much fun it could be lol. Used glitter card and when you cut with a cricut it gets everywhere lol. Lots of sparkle on this one.

Another Birthday Card

Well I spent the weekend making birthday cards and I had five to do so they took some time lol. I posted the first one yesterday and today is the turn of the second one. I have used a new Beau image from Digistamp boutique and she is a dream to colour. I have used her three times on the cards I made this weekend so you will be seeing a bit more of her. Used my bow easy again and this time went for a double bow, not easy to see in the picture but effective irl.

A Birthday card - Yeah

I decided to finally use some of the paper mountain that is slowly taking over my craft room. I bought this pack a few years ago and am ashamed to say this is the first page I have used and even after making the card I have only used a 1/4 of a sheet lol. Still going for the simple look, need to be more adventurous but am making cards again so it is a start. Thought with the snow my craft room would be cold so have avoided going in there but decided last night I have so many birthdays this month I needed to get a wriggle on and it was toasty, it is a small room with a decent sized radiator and I could have stayed in there all night.

Christmas Card - day 10

I just love these cute images, a dream to colour and so easy to embellish. You might have noticed that there is very little on these cards except the odd button, well there is a reason, the cost of postage. I will be adding a few gems, card candy or combo of both but not until i know they will fit through the postage slot. I am not an old miser before you ask just begrudge having to pay extra just cos there is a button on it.

Anyway on to todays card, another simple affair although there is a large layer of stickles on this one. I am loving this Zoe Pearn paper, love the colours, patterns and oh well everything actually lol. I only own three kits by Zoe but can see a new addiction forming. Once I find a designer I like I seem to want everything they have ever made lol.

Christmas Cards day 8 - and the 1st December

Christmas Cards Day 7

Well we have finally gotten some snow, not a lot and certainly not enough to stop me getting to work but some. I love the white stuff but wish it would start on Christmas eve (after I have bought everything I need) and finish on Boxing day morning (just in time for the sales) lol. Oh well I can wish I suppose.

Another day another card, I have really enjoyed making these christmas cards and once the inserts are in they can be posted. I can't believe Christmas is around the corner, I am usually so organised and excited but this year I just feel flat. I am usually nagging hubbie to put up the tree by now. hopefully when december arrives tomorrow eek, I will start to feel the christmas spirit.

Christmas Cards day 6

I love gingerbread, men, ladies, houses you name it I love it. This christmas we seem to be surrounded with them. As soon as I saw this little guy I knew I would buy the set, he was so easy to colour and I finally go to use some of the buttons I bought about three years ago.

Roses are Pink

Sometimes when looking at other peeps blogs I have an idea to try some of their creations and this is one of them. I saw a card on Mina's blog and loved the idea of the flower coloured in sepia tones and with a circle of colour, it reminded me of my favourite film "Pleaseantville". I love the image and was quite peased with how the colouring went not quite so happy with the finished card as I feel it missed the mark a bit. It needs something but I am not sure what, answers on a postcard please lol. No sentiment yet as I haven't decided who it is for.

Christmas Card day 5

Back to the christmas cards again lol. I mentioned a while ago that I was dieting and had lost a bit of weight well I have now lost 42 pounds or 3 stone. I still can't believe it and although I feel fitter I don't think I look any different lol. It still amazes me that I can fit into clothes that I never thought I would wear again. I hope no-one minds me mentioning it here but I thought if I put it on my blog I may stick to it better.

A break from the Christmas Cards

Morning all, I decided to give you a break from my Christmas cards today with a bright and cheery boys card. On my bloghopping travels I often see cards that inspire me and none more so than Kerry, I love the clean and simple style she uses and just wish I could colour like her, she inspires me to use my prisma's more. I saw a card recently that had an image from the clip art fairy on and I decided to visit the website to have a look, wow, loads of digi stamps starting from just 25p, I couldn't just buy one now could I. I have used one of these images for this card and will be back for more as they are an absolute joy to colour and look so effective. I have even used some of my precious brads, I have more brads than I will ever use but never seem to have the right one for the right card lol.

Christmas Cards day 2

It's day 2 of the christmas cards and another simple but hopefully stylish creation. I have tried to make these easy to reproduce so I can make several of the same design. Still have a load to make but at least I have started lol. Spent last night wrapping a few presents and it made me feel all christmassy, wanted to listen to christmas songs and drink hot chocolate oh and of course break out the Quality Street. Image coloured with trusty copics and a bit of glossy accents, what I ever did before I bought this I don't know.

Very Green Card

My friend at work adores green and it really suits her so when it came to her birthday card there was really only one colour that would do. As soon as I saw this image from Tiddlyinks I knew it was going to be perfect. She makes the most amazing cakes really outstanding and I even gave up my diet for a day recently when she brought in her homemade brownies. I hope she likes it. If you get a chance popon over to Tiddlyinks where there is a 36 hour sale,I adore her images and my first ever blog post was one of her designs.

A New ME

As Mr. Mojo seems to have gone on a sudden and unexpected break I thought I would let you all know what I have been upto instead. I have been on my first diet for about twenty years and this is time I have stuck with it even when it got tough. I haven't blogged as I have been loosing weight as although the scales told me I was getting smaller my eyes didn't lol. In fact after loosing 37 pounds ( 2 stone 9 pounds) I can finally see a difference, this doesn't mean the journey is over in fact I still have a long way to go but I am feeling more positive that I will make it now. It feels wonderful to fit into sizes I thought were a dim and distant memory and the positive comments from my co-workers has helped considerably. I don't know about anyone else but I kept on wearing my original clothes that were too big and I decided to see what size I was after someone said I was wearing clown trousers that just needed the braces lol. It did feel weird visiting a store and having to pick up a range of sizes just to see which one fitted especially when the "would love to fit" was the right one.

Tried something new - well almost

I bought quite a few items in the elzybells closing down sale, in fact I placed several orders. I am very sad to see this store close as the quality of the images is excellent. Amongst the orders was the retail therapy large stamp and the small dinkies set and every now and then I get a good idea and this seemed to be one of them, I used the large stamp on my card and the smaller one on the envelope. I paper pieced both and I think it makes an unusual set.

Wow - 1st post of September

I can't believe September is nearly over and this is my 1st post. Mojo went on vacation and is still lost but had to make a few cards as a necessity. I actually bought a card last week....eeek...shock horror...disbelief. I know it is a while since I actually bought a card but boy it's not just the price £1.89 for a single piece of card with an image but the style and content, I thought I must be getting old as the jokes just weren't funny. Bought a suitable one after looking in five different card shops lol and made a decision that I won't buy another card for another five years. I have decided to stop worrying about whether people like my cards and trying to please everyone and am just going to make cards I like. I know that this may sound logical and may be how you all do it but it is a change to me lol. So on to tonights card.

I made this for a my hubbie and as he is an avid gamer I couldn't resist this image from Mo , it is almost as though she has been looking through my curtains lol. I found the paper thanks to Emma who posted a link to the store on her blog. The store has DCWV digital paper packs and I couldn't resist a few, so fab to have the DCWV designs available to print as many times as you want.

Leaving card- Good Luck Ola

Morning all, its been a while since I last posted and not much has been happening on the crafty front, mojo is on holiday and I hope he returns soon. I always have so many ideas running around my head when I buy any stash but as soon as I get the chance to sit down and create they vanish lol.

A good friend of mine is leaving work today to pursue pastures new and I couldn't let her leave without a card, I still love the pink petticoat images and if in doubt they are a go to image. I have used this image several times for leaving cards and new job cards. Everything except the card stock is pp. Coloured with copics and a red marvy pen, you can just see where I glossy accented the case that the marvy pen doesn't like it lol.

Have a great day, will be back on Wednesday with my WOYWW, its messy this week folks as I am trying to kick start my creativity.

WOYWW - 18/08/2010

Its that time of the week again, its WOYWW. I want to start with some apologies, I started to visit all the entries on last weeks WOYWW but life just got in the way, I promise to be better this week and will try and visit everyone.

Well what can I say except I took this picture last night before I lost the daylight. I haven't been creating anything just having a play, I find I clear up straight away if I make a whole card but if I am just playing I leave the room messy, go figure.

What can we see.... my trusty ATG, never leave home without it, there are several images in varying stages of colouring all have been or are freebies and I often just print and colour them in batches for when the card making bug catches me and I need to make cards quickly. There is also an inkadinkado clear set that I picked up at Homesense, I liked this set on-line but once I saw it in the flesh and at a bargain price of £2.99 I couldn't resist. The blue background is one of my £1 shop bargains and also contains 4 sheets of stickers suitable for boys of varying ages and well worth the price.

Thats all from me this week, but pop on over to Julia's blog to join in or to have a nosey at all the other WOYWWers out there.

Mmmm... Chocolate

I love chocolate, I would eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner if I could so I couldn't resist this image from bugaboo. I have coloured with my copics and it didn't take long, lol. I think next time I will use stickles on the cloud but the person this is for isn't really into sparkly things. I have used the new rose papers from pink petticoat and they are even more delicious in real life, I ummed and ahhed over buying these but am so glad I did, expect to see many more cards made with them.

Wow They Grow so Fast

Hi Everyone
I managed to make a card this weekend and it's for my godson and his girlfriend who have just moved in together. I can't believe that the little boy who used to play with the labels on my clothes and cry every time I left him is so grown up. Since we moved away I haven't seen as much of him or his siblings but i do think about them a lot. I hope that they will make a home filled with joy, laughter and love. Before I start waffling and embarrass him further I will let you see the card I made them, not traditional colours but they are a thoroughly modern couple and I thought this combo worked. I used a font from Lettering Delights, they have tons of doodlebats and they work just like a digi stamp.

Blog Candy - up for grabs

Morning everyone
Wel its raining buckets here and its cold, needed the heating on last night but I resisted lol. It does make me in the mood for Christmas cards though so may start some later.

Whilst checking out docrafts forum last night I noticed that Ruth is celebrating a birthday soon and although she says its not a special one she is offering some blog candy to celebrate. Pop on over to her blog and become a follower to be in with a chance of winning. Ruth designs fab digi stamps and the prize is five, yes I said five digi stamps from her range.

I will be popping back later as there are several images that I really need.

Hello

Well folks I had a play in my craftroom this week and managed to make a few cards, never seem to have enough time and when I do make a card like I did last week I forget to take a photo. I have a few birthdays coming up and decided to try and not be making them the night before lol. The first card is one I made for my friend from work. I have used an Elzybells stamp, I know I stamped rather than printed lol. I bought a few in the closing down sale, I actually did two orders as I forgot this stamp the first time around. I coloured her with copics then remembered these papers and she didn't match but I had got the hair just right and didn't want to start again so I paper pieced her, this technique is so much easier with a stamp rather than a digi stamp.

How'd you do

I loved this cute stamp as soon as I saw it and it was unbelievably easy to colour. I started with the Friday sketch challenge sketch but went a different way lol, so will have to make another one for the challenge now. Not much to say about this one, tried chalks around the image, not as easy as I thought it would be but never mind. Used one of my new punches from Florida and I tried to get the prints to look like the puppy was walking but failed more practice is needed.

WOYWW - 11/08/2010

Evening All
Well I took photos last week to upload to WOYWW but didn't get chance to post, made sure I posted this week though. I really enjoy this every week and it gives the nosey ones amongst us the chance to peek at others craft rooms. It also makes me realise I don't have enough stash lol although I am sure hubbie would disagree. Julia started this and pop on over to her blog and maybe even join in.

As you can see my desk has seen a bit of action, I bought a few Elybells stamps in her closing down sale and couldn't wait to ink them up an have a play. Not my best colouring work though so I have paper pieced the shopping girl and will be posting later this week.

Different angle showing both my new and old cutters, still getting used to the new cutter although it does cut straighter than the old one.

I wonder are you all like me and buy stash then forget you have it, I found the craftwork cards paper pack that I must have bought a few years ago and thought must use this, but did I, no, put it back in the cupboard without even removing one sheet. lol.

For the neat freaks, me included amongst us, I have now tidied the room as a rather large A1 craft mat arrived and will be taking up residence later tonight.

A Bit about ME

I realised that I don't comment on myself a lot in my posts, now I know this is a card blog but I am the person who makes the cards so really its all about me lol. I discovered the other day that when I buy papers, cards, items I can touch my mind goes completely blank, I had loads of ideas when I was ordering them but as soon as they arrive, nadda, diddly zilch, whereas when I buy a digi image or papers I start creating straight away. So I have made a decision no more online ordering of crafty stash other than digis, if I want something or more importantly need something I must go out and get it.

August - Autumn starts

Had a fairly weird conversation today in work, we were talking about the weather like you do all the time in the UK when one of the gang said can't believe it will soon be Christmas, and we all nodded and said Autumn came really fast this year lol. Then the youngest member f the gang said it is only August isn't it and we all looked shocked, it is because I want to swap my sandals for my boots or because it is constantly raining that we bypassed summer altogether and went straight to Autumn. Maybe for me it is all the Christmas cards I keep seeing when I am blog hopping. I still look at my planner I made in January we all know the one, where I was going to make at least one christmas card a week so that I wouldn't be rushing on Christmas eve, so I hear you ask how many have I made, well exactly one lol. Still on the bright side it is only August and not October like it feels.

Test Tubes

I received a comment from Angie yesterday asking about the test tubes in the stand on my WOYWW post. They originally contained spices when I received them and even though they have been washed they still smell a bit spicy. I thought about putting flowers or brads in but haven't made up my mind yet.

Any suggestions gratefully received.

Will hopefully be back later with some cards, BIL has some new images that I just had to play with.

Tata for now.

Thank Crunchie its Friday

No card to show today but as I promised myself I would post everyday here is a quick post about pearls lol. I love pearls on a card and have tried several different types including flatback and adhesive and adhesive wins everytime for me. I know that the flatback are considerably cheaper and this means I could have more but try as I might I can never get them exactly where I want them on a card. Have tried glue dots, stuck to my finger and pearl disappeared never to be seen again, xyron stuck to me and I left the house with pearls on my trousers, tape glue around the pearl so that dirt stuck to it, the list is endless and everytime I try I end up reaching for the adhesive ones lol. I would appreciate any tips you have as I hate to not use something so pretty just cos I am clumsy. It amazes me that I don't have the same trouble with the flatback gems maybe it is cos they have a face you can sort of grip.

Old Favourites

My very first digi stamps were by Pink Petticoat and although I don't use them as much they are still a joy to colour. It's my friends 30th Birthday this week and she is a real girlie girl, loves pink & shiny so have coloured Lola Rose with bags and made this card, used the Friday Sketchers Sketch again but forgot the ribbon doh!
Decided against a sentiment and put it all on the inside, thought as she doesn't want to be 30 it needed a 30 on it that everyone could see.

I love these check papers, they are perfect for male cards and look good as a background against the busy papers. PP currently have a set of roses paper on special offer and I think I will be buying them before the week is out. I can't resist these papers and buy almost all the sets as they come out, just need a few more male ones.

WOYWW - 28 July 2010

Well its been a while since I posted on WOYWW. I have missed this so much and as soon as I finished crafting I took a picture before I cleared up. I hadn't realised how much I tidy up between each card lol. I must admit that a tidy craftroom has hampered my mojo and this week I have made more cards since I messed it up a bit.

Ok so whats on my desk, where do I start lol, there are cardboard boxes with card blanks and envelopes, when I first started crafting QVC had a one time only of 200 hammered white cards in four sizes and I am still using them. They don't contain any square cards and rarely use dl, a6 or a5 so there a few left.

I now have two guillotines my original blue one and one my MIL bought me from Lidl, it has a rotary cutter on one side and then when you flip it over it has a guillotine, it is easy to use and cuts like a dream, the rotary cutter even has different blades and such a bargain at under a tenner.

Thought I would show my expression in its new home, it is so shiny and black and works like a dream, can't imagine making a card without it already.

And finally I have had to have a sort around in my cupboard as I acquired a few new punches and there was nowhere for them to fit. I also bought some $1 pots of buttons and they look so pretty in there little pots not sure I can bring myself to use them lol.

If you are wondering what I am wittering on about and why all the piccies pop on over to Julia's blog and join in the weekly fun. It is a perfect excuse to be nosey and see how others craft.

BIL Birthday and back later for WOYWW

Took some photos of the messy craft room last night now just need to figure out how to upload them to blogger from my iphone.

I don't know about everyone else but there are certain images that once I see them will forever be how I see an illustrator, I spotted this image about a year ago whilst bloghopping and I was hooked, I bought several and made lots of cards enjoying the colouring and the way the image comes alive but I resisted this set. I kept telling myself that there are no new babies due and that I wouldn't use it but I kept on looking at it. So on Wednesday I was asked for a naming day card and I thought yeah I can buy the set now lol. I bought them on Thursday and have already coloured three of this image, blue bear, pink bear and brown bear, the one with the dummy has been coloured in different skin tones and they are all waiting to be made into cards. Hubbie even asked why when I was enjoying colouring them so much hadn't I bought them before and I realised I didn't have an answer but next time I love one of these images I am just going to buy it and get colouring.

I need to get my camera fixed as the scanner bleaches everything, the card has pale blue paper but it looks white. Also I used pinker skin colours and several of them but it all looks one colour. Think I will try with my iphone before I take this to work tomorrow.

Its birthday season here again and I have loads of cards to make yet I have found myself making cards that aren't needed yet instead lol. I made the following card for my friends birthday this month and as she doesn't look at my blog I feel safe posting it. I used the friday sketchers sketch and couldn't believe it is almost the same as my no mojo style lol so I can safely say will be using it a lot lol.

Whilst I was in Florida provocraft released a range of cricut carts exclusive to Walmart and I managed to get three different ones. As always the one you weren't sure you would use becomes the one you can't live without and the others are still waiting for their turn. I cut the scalloped circle from the "Lacy Labels" set and really like the way it turned out. Was debating getting a few sets of nesties but think I don't need to now.

Hellooo - Pollycraft Flash those Freebies Challenge

Hello, its been a while since my last post and no excuses just been catching up since my return from Florida. I was in Florida for three weeks and I don't think I have relaxed that much in years lol, I was almost comatose by the time I returned. I shopped til I dropped and even went to a craft fair and whilst I was away my mojo was on fire, I had loads of ideas buzzing around my head but jetlag saw them off when I got back. Didn't suffer as badly as previously but am still tired now and I have been back nearly two weeks lol.

Anyway enough of my gabbing, on with the card. I saw a challenge whilst blog hopping to use a pollycraft freebie and I immediately thought of this little fella. He has been printed and cut out for a while and I coloured him last night. It is a simple card to kick start my mojo and I used a sketch saturday sketch for inspiration. It doesn't match exactly but it is close enough hopefully.

WOYWW - 30/06/2010

Hello All.

I haven't played along for the past few weeks as I have been in sunny Florida but as I bought an expression whilst here I thought if I could work out how to post the pictures I would show my Florida workspace. I don't have any crafting stuff over here but do tend to bring a lot back with me lol. Not much I can say about the craft space except it's my kitchen table and I have been cutting lots of stuff with the expression and the lots of new carts I have bought.

See you all next week when I will be back in the UK but slightly jet lagged.

For those of you who haven't visited Julia's blog, what are you waiting for, hop on over and have a looksy at everyones craft areas.

Ta Ta for now

Such Sad News - Elzybells

I am sure that you all already know that Elzybells Art Stamps has decided to close, I have admired Elizabeth's artwork from afar and decided that with my birthday money this year to try the stamps and cardstock. I just went to place my first order to discover that the store will be closing, this is such a shame as these stamps are unlike any others available. I suppose that if I had bought previously instead of just looking like I suspect many of us do this situation may have been avoided. I do wish Elizabeth the best of luck and I think next time I just admire from afar I should remember that the things I want may not be available when I go to buy if we don't support our independent artists.

I am enjoying the sunshine, relaxing & shopping experience in Florida but am itching to get back to crafting. I can't believe all the wonderful creations that everyone has been making whilst I have been here.

See you all soon.

P.S. couldn't work out how to upload the craft pictures on my iphone so will show you all the new stuff when I get home.

MIA - In the sunshine state

Hello everyone, thought I would explain my MIA, I am currently at my home in Florida enjoying the hot, hot and stormy weather. It reached 107 last Monday and then promptly rained, not like the UK though it was more like a warm shower lol.

I went to a craft fair in Orlando yesterday after reading about it on Enfy's blog, can't really compare it to the Uk as only been to Newbury once but thoroughly enjoyed myself. So many stamps and beautiful samples it was hard to know where to look first. Bought quite a few things and several were 50% off or 25%off. If I can work out how to upload to here from my iphone will post a picture later.

Well I had better get back to relaxing.

Thanks for looking.

BIL Stikes again

When I first started blogging my BIL drew a few images for me and I had a blast being able to ask and get the exact images I wanted, since then he has started his own business and is doing really well but hasn't had as much time to draw. I needed an image for a friends card and it was really specific and I couldn't find anything that fitted the brief, it was also a rush job as it needs to be in the US before the end of the week so I asked BIL on Friday night and on Sunday morning I had my image exactly as I wanted ready to colour. I have used core'dinations gemstones for an added bit of bling and bearly mine papers. Didn't want to use a sketch as it needs to be sent International so thought about the extra costs before adding anything else.

Scrap Card - Leftover Nitwit Papers

A while ago I made a card with a new collection from Nitwit, really bright fun colours and as usual I was left with a few scraps so I decided rather than add to my scrap mountain I would use them to make a card. I was actually surprised how much I had left and I still have some of the star paper left. I used the robot from the kit and a scrap of lime card and voila.

I loved this kit from the moment I saw it and it was only available for a month and I am so glad I bought it as it isn't on the website anymore, hopefully it will be released on the Nitwit website.

Tiddlyinks - Cookies

I spent a wonderful Tuesday evening in my craftroom and as you can see from the post below made lots of mess. I bought this image and paper as a set from Tiddlyinks a few days ago and couldn't wait to print and colour her. In a typical fashion there was a sale a few days ago and this set was even cheaper, does this happen to anyone else? I have just seen a perfect sentiment at create with tlc and will be buying it later.

WOYWW

Afternoon All, well its that time of the week again for WOYWW on Stamping Ground. I entered last week for the first time and received quite a few comments about how tidy my craft room is, so this week decided to show it in full craft mode. I usually craft at night and once the item is made clear up before I go to bed but last night I couldn't as I wanted to take a photo and it was too dark, so had to wait until this morning.

I have also taken a few pictures of the inside of my cupboard and I must say it isn't as bad as I was expecting. I should add that I am a digi stamper and have a computer full of craft images and papers. Hubbie suggested taking a picture of my computer workarea with all the printed bits but I will leave that til next week. And yes that is a santa hanging on my door, bought him in the sale last year for 50p and knew if I put him away will forget all about him.

Thank you for looking

Bank Holiday Monday

I love Bank Holiday Mondays especially now that I don't work in retail and have to work them lol. I have been playing already this morning and I can feel a crafting day in the making. There are quite a few special birthdays in my family this year and it is always difficult to keep the ideas fresh so decided that i would add an image to this one. Have used a stamping bella image, nitwit papers and doodlebug border oh and of course my cricut. I printed the papers in smaller scale and paper pieced the cupcake and her dress. The glitter looks a different colour on here but is a perfect match in real life.

Ingredients

Papers: Nitwit "Butterfly Kisses Too"
Border: Doodlebug "Sweet Treats"

Whiff of Joy Spider Mouse Henry

When I saw the post on Bev's blog I couldn't wait to get my hands on this fab digi stamp. I love the Henry mouse images by Whiff of Joy but being a digi stamper rather than a stamper I haven't bought any so far. I am hoping that this first digi stamp will pave the way for more from Whiff of Joy.

I have coloured Henry with my trusty copics and used pink petticoat gingham and little checks for the background with some candy dots to finish. Haven't put a sentiment on yet but will be using this for my godson's birthday next month.

Wow - I have posted everyday this week

I have been trying to use some of my neglected stamps and stash and this card is made with both. I used Dexter bear from Sugar Nellie that I am ashamed to admit I bought about two years ago and this is his first inking, and also shrink plastic. I had forgotten how much fun this product was, felt like magic when it started to shrink, not particularly pleased with my colouring on the shrink plastic but will be practising.

I love these papers and have used them loads and loads, perfect colours for soft and gentle cards. Used the last of my Kanban pearls as well, really handy pack but 10 of each isn't enough for me lol, wish they did packs of the single colours.

Cardstock: Bazzill Bling
Papers: Nitwit "Bear Necessities"
